★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dear friend paid over $100 to have this cat shaved, only to have her come home looking like frankenkitty. I could have chased her around the house with clippers and done better. Shame on whoever thought this was acceptable.
March 17 · Mini SchniersWe called Lakeland trails @11:30 this morning and told them our dog was vomiting last night, today does not want anything to eat or drink and that he was breathing hard. They said to come in at 1:30; the dog wouldn’t get up so we found a blanket to move him since he weighs over 100 lbs and my husband was 15 minutes late, our dog was in worse shape when we got there. They said we were too late and turned him away after driving 35 minutes to get there from Perry. He was not in good shape and the vet would not even come to the car to look at him. They told my husband to take him to MSU. I really wish I could give a negative review and I would! So unprofessional and sad. Our dog is 10 years old and has been in good shape up until last night. 🙏🏻
July 24 · robin adamsI really liked my first couple of interactions at this vet clinic, but the staff were really rude and made me feel bad. We had a couple of appointments that we missed, I called ahead of time and was given the wrong time for one and the other I did indeed miss because of a medical emergency but I called and rescheduled. Then there was miscommunication about what appointment my dog was having, I sent my husband to drop the dog off for her spay and they called and told me she needed an additional appointment for her shots which we apparently had missed and not realized it so they had him come back and get her. When I called today to reschedule her spay and have another dog in for an exam, they set the phone down and I overheard their conversation about me saying "I recognize that name and it's not good" referring to my name. Considering these are the folks I'm trusting to work with me and my animals...I'm going to be switching somewhere else.
January 23 · Casey WhiteA friend recommended me to this clinic when I needed to get dental work for my Charlie cat, and what I can say about them is that they go the extra mile! Even though they’re typically really busy, you get a very genuine sense that they REALLY care about your animals and NOT THE MONEY!! Which I’m SOOO GRATEFUL FOR!I haven’t seen too many in the medical field (whether dealing with humans or animals) who didn’t seem like they weren’t in it for the money besides this vet clinic, their staff, and my therapist! Oh…and my gf’s old gastro doc…🤷🏼♀️ 😂 my point is, that I rarely feel I’m being treated fairly by the majority of doctors and vets. Rarely do you find doctors and veterinarians who’s main concern are actually their patients!! No disrespect to people in the medical field. I just feel if you’re going to become a doctor or vet, your patient should be priority number 1, not the money! 💰However, some of you Vets and Doctors have such an inflated ego that you can’t see your patients clearly enough to treat them right! ANIMAL CARE CLINIC will go to great lengths to make sure you can afford care for your pet, unlike almost every other vet I’ve ever dealt with! Also, I read someone’s review about this place being unprofessional. On that note, even if this place was “unprofessional,” (which it isn't) I’ve dealt with VERY “professional” vets in the past who have charged me literally 4 times the amount for the exact same process than Animal Care Clinic charged me with the same results! So many vets gouge you! It’s ridiculous and it should be a crime! If you got cussed out by someone who works here, you probably deserved it! 😂In my experience, no matter how busy they’ve been, no matter how many times I’ve been late to my appointments, they always work with me and have successfully helped my cats again and again. I just took my new kitten in today and they were just as kind and patient as they always are, and completely reasonable! You don’t leave there dumbfounded and broke, and if you have questions they’re very receptive. I wouldn’t say “unprofessional” as much as I would say maybe slightly “unconventional,” but in a very good and refreshing way! 🙏 REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL ANSWERS AND AFFORDABLE SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR PET!! 💯 🐈 🐈⬛ 🐇Much LOVE to Dr. Cindy and to the entire staff!!! 💕 💗 💕
October 19 · Michaela MillerAcorn went in for a laser declaw on Wednesday and was dead by Monday, despite two calls to their office where we were advised to "cut back on pain meds and give tuna water"After an 8 hour MSU ER visit on Sat night/Sun morning there was nothing they could do for him.would not recommend this veterinarian, they should've given acorn antibiotics from the beginning and been more responsive and let us speak with the doctor after hours .
