Dr. G, Lacey, and staff are the very best! I have a wonderful dog named Happy, but unfortunately, Happy isn't very happy visiting the vet. If you have an overly anxious baby, this is the place to bring them. I need to sedate Happy when we see Dr. G. The staff is so patient, and they treat Happy and I with compassion and make the visit less stressful. I love how straight forward Dr. G is with treatments, diagnoses, and a plan for a healthier fur baby. I highly recommend Mitchell Veterinary Hospital to everyone! When you become a patient, you receive text messages, emails, and reminders of visits, events, and even happy birthday messages for my animals. After visits, they call to make sure everything is fine and will answer any questions you may have. This office is so professional, compassionate, and fun to visit. I appreciate each and every one of the vet techs, receptionists, and Dr. G (Happy does too, even if he shows it in a grumpy way :))!

Mitchell Veterinary Clinic has the most amazing veterinary staff! I always feel as if my pets and I are the most important thing, during our time with them. If you want a doctor that takes time with you and your pets, then this is the place to be! The staff spends an incredible amount of time with you and then...they spend more time with you! I have never been to a doctor that emphasized the time of their visits, much less, one that did not rush thru any part of your appointment. Telephone calls to wellness exams are given the time they need to impart information, ask questions, give medical advice and treatment, place orders, etc., but most importantly, time is given freely to get to know you and your pet family. It is truly an endearing quality and gives them a chance to get to know you personally. My pets are treated with the utmost care and professionalism. I always think of them as people who really care about keeping me and my pet family together, for as long as possible. My pets are never upset to visit with them and are never scared to go to the vet. They truly make an effort to put all of us at ease. They are always trying to be on your pets level. Pets that are bigger and seated on floor, will get a staff member that stays on the floor as well. High costs of pet care can also be a concern. The staff will help provide options to curb those costs and make it possible to always give your pets the best care available! I have personally been a client of Mitchell Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years. I never want to take my pets anywhere else. I can say from experience that there has been a steady theme that makes my vet the absolute "cat's meow! They really believe in the quality of the care they administer to their pets! I feel so fortunate to be a part of Mitchell Veterinary Clinic's family! I was SUPER nervous to switch vets. I've been driving an hour and a half for over two years in order to stay with the Veterinarian team I had before my move. I'm sure many of you know what it is like to compare a new veterinarian, doctor or other specialist to one that you've felt super comfortable with. That said, my experience at Mitchell Veterinary Hospital exceeded my expectations. My itty bitty criticism is that for each new person, outside of the doctor, I had to initiate a name introduction. I know it might seem weird but that thing has always mattered to me. Still, I'm doing a five-star review because my overall experience was remarkable. They absolutely focus on "fear free" experiences. Dr. Kelly Georgeou is not only focused and professional but also deeply compassionate. She and the tech that worked with us, seemed to have a connection that allowed unspoken needs and expectations to be met. I was able to be with my furbaby every second and help comfort her during the exam, shot, and blood draw. There are doggy bandanas in the lobby that have a calming scent which they allow patients to put on their pets. I was actually surprised that this seemed to have an affect on my 11 year old Chihuahua. She stopped shaking and was pretty chill during the entire visit. We were even allowed to take the banana home with us.After the exam Dr. Dr. Georgeou made some recommendations for upcoming care procedures that may benefit YumYum. I was anxious about fees as my life has been pretty affected financially this year. When I was shown the estimate I felt relieved. Vet care is never cheap but with all the work that had been performed at this visit I was presently surprised by the prices.I feel fortunate to have found Mitchell Veterinary Hospital. The office is very clean, smells really good, and has a relatively spacious waiting area. You are greeted by an African Grey and a Dove upon entry. The staff are tremendously helpful and kind. The prices are fair and comparable to what I've experienced before. Most importantly, however, is that my furbaby felt comfortable and was treated like the princess she believes herself to be. My favorite part was that the staff spoke to YumYum the same way we speak to her at home. I can't wait to bring my other kiddo in. If you've been looking for a great vet in this area, look no further.
