Montowese Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Talk about friendly, professional, kind, any positive adjective you could think of, describes what kind of vet this place is. From the people in the front, to the nurses, to the doctors, EVERYONE is great and it’s like a family. Even if you have a wild dog like mine they have all the patience in the world and understand where he or she is coming from. Nick is especially great with my dog Tucker. He knows how he is so he is always taking care of him in the best way possible. But also they always show love to the animal no matter how they may act. And to top it all off they make sure the job at hand is complete for your animal. Something you find difficult in todays world. So I’m grateful for this place and so is my family.
Mar 27, 2025 · Giovanni ParilloIt was a pleasure to see Dr. Mendillo and her assistant yesterday (I didn't catch his name, he's been there quite a while). The new facility is quite nice and is more conducive to coming and going than the first place. The front and rear entrance is brilliant in case two clients meet who maybe aren't so friendly. The exam room I was in had an exam table my dog could step onto instead of having to lift him up. Great feature! Just, the whole place has been executed nicely.
Feb 07, 2025 · William MeyerDR. Jay is amazing. Everyone there is so knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The place is so clean. My Jax feels comfortable in the environment and that’s what made me feel secured coming here for his primary care.
Apr 01, 2025 · JesseniaI was pleased with the care and concern shown for my dog and the actual service provided by the doctor and technician. I was much less pleased with the charges associated with that service.I scheduled an appointment from their website before they opened, but when I called to confirm was told the that time I wanted was taken but I could come one hour earlier. At no time was I informed that my appoiment would then be considered an "urgent visit/same day" and I would be charged $106.00 to be seen.I similarly was not told that I would not receive prescriptions for the three medications my dog needed but would instead just be supplied with them at checkout. After doing some research when I got home I discovered that two of the medications prescribed could be obtained from other sources for "just" 30 - 40% cheaper. But for one medication I was billed $26.92 for the same brand, dosage and quantity I could buy from Chewy for $6.00!Now I understand that veterinary practices are businesses, and as such are entitled to make a profit, but this kind of overcharging and lack of transparency leaves me feeling like I have been unnecessarily taken advantage of, so I will unfortunately not be returning.
Feb 25, 2025 · Christopher BoscoTerrible terrible terrible!! Ran a few minutes late for my appointment and they turned me away with my distressed cat in the carrier. Asked to speak with the vet and instead got the manager who was an arrogant, smug twenty something year old with no people skills all the while with a hideous smirk on her face. I reminded her that on my last visit they kept me waiting for 45 minutes. Dr. Mendiilo you ought to be ashamed!! This one star rating is too generous. Should be a negative 5 star. I will not be returning to his sham of an operation
