This level of commitment speaks volumes about their passion for animal health and their understanding of the anxieties and concerns that pet owners can face. Pets' Friend Animal Hospital Reviews
I can’t say enough things about our experience with Pets Friend Animal Hospital! Ever since we got our yellow lab Callie, we knew what we wanted in a veterinarian. Someone who actually cared about her well-being and not just as another office visit to rush through as quickly as possible. After six years of looking for that kind of vet, we finally found Dr. Alter and his team at Pets Friend Animal Hospital. He and his team are so caring, kind and attentive to Callie! They’re always extremely helpful whenever we have questions or need something; and they’ve never once pushed anything on us that was unnecessary; unlike every other vet that we’ve been too in the past.Callie needed a minor surgery and Dr. Alter and his team couldn’t have been better! They took amazing care of her and even called the house the next morning, just to check on how Callie was feeling. Dr. Alter and his staff are by far the best and we are truly thankful to them. I highly recommend Pets Friend Animal Hospital!

Mar 31, 2025 · Carol MontaltoDr. Alter and his staff are top tier and wonderful. Great expertise, decent fees and a genuine love for animals keep me coming back year after year. They sincerely adore and care about my cats; it's steadily apparent. Dr. Alter also saved - and preserved - the life of one of my cats whom he diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. After the necessary tests and realizing that surgery was impossible, he prescribed potent medication and baby aspirin, which kept her viable and comfortable for three and a half more years than she would've had previously without a proper diagnosis. I will ALWAYS be grateful to Dr. Alter and his staff for their knowledge and kindness.
