Central Hospital For Veterinary Medicine- Guilford Reviews
I need to sing the praises of Central Hospital in Guilford. Seeking emergency veterinary care is never fun and it’s always expensive, but I found this hospital to be exceptionally easy to have my beloved pet treated at (as easy as it could be given the circumstances). They were compassionate and worked swiftly, and every staff member we interacted with was beyond kind and helpful. We didn’t have a complex case by any means… seemed pretty apparent to the vet what my beloved pet’s issue was, and that it required euthanasia. I just appreciated how quickly they worked to get her comfortable, and how transparent they were about treatment options. This was a terrible day for my family, but Central made it easier and for that I am grateful.
Jul 03, 2025 · M PSuch a great facility. I had an emergency with my pet this evening April 8, 2025, and my dog Maisie was seen in a timely manner, you do have to have patience as they triage but the doctors, vet techs, and the front desk staff were excellent kind and compassionate. They really listen to what you have to say. I would highly recommend if you have an emergency with your pet that you come to this facility I thank you for caring for Maisie. I would definitely trust them with her care in the future if needed. Thank you guys again for caring for her so much and she sends you much love and kisses.
Apr 09, 2025 · KeriLack of respect, care and compassion from the staff. My puppy ripped her nail off and cracked a second 1 from rough housing. The entire nail was sticking straight up and hanging on the proximal nail fold (where a human has a cuticle.) She was bleeding pretty bad. I got the bleeding to subside with powder and as I have her at this clinic, the bleeding began again. I'm concerned about her getting an infection. The clinic told me my dog isn't a priority and I'm going to have to wait 6 hours. While I understand the dynamic of an emergency clinic, to tell me that my bleeding puppy isn't a priority and "shoo" me away so carelessly is absolutely absurd. Never going back.
Jun 25, 2025 · Ashley PerrucciWe took our dog in late evening to be on the safe side for something that wasn’t TERRIBLY urgent and maybe could have waited until the next morning, but we didn’t want to take any chances. After waiting about 45 mins, a tech took our dog back. About an hour later Dr. Hampton came out and discussed her exam and findings. She was warm, personable, and clearly very knowledgable so we felt very trusting of her assessment! We left feeling at ease, confident with the information we were given, and knowing what to look out for in case she needed further exam within the next few days. All in all we were there a little less than 2 hours- not bad at all and the price was reasonable and fair (for an ER).My only piece of constructive feedback would be to improve the communication aspect of things. We were confused about the anticipated wait time and the intake process. Overall had a great experience and would recommend!
Jun 20, 2025 · Rachel TExceptional care from a compassionate team! I’ve, unfortunately, had to bring my dog in twice, and each time, the staff were keen on providing kind, attentive care to my precious fur baby. They were not only incredibly supportive but also pretty transparent and reasonable with their pricing. While I hope to avoid future urgent visits, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet’s care. Highly recommend!
