New Horizon Animal Hospital Reviews
Horrible experience. They had me bring my animal early in the morning but didn't do neuter until late afternoon. They had me keep calling to check to see if I could bring home until 7 at night. I just went to get him. I was informed that there was only one surgeon doing surgeries. They should not have scheduled so many. I used to think that they were a great place not anymore. It was a joke. They quoted me a price but was way more than they said. Will never go there again.
Apr 18, 2025 · Missy ElyThis place is HORRIBLE! My dog had Parvo and all they were worried about was money. The lady told me what they wanted for a down payment and I said I couldn't do that and told her what I could do. The exact words were, well can you go to the bank and get more. 😡 Would not recommend to anyone
Jun 23, 2025 · Shelly SchaubEvery time you walk in they’re just standing there with their hands out. Expensive is fine if they’re good and care about your pet, which they don’t. It’s a money grab every time we’ve been there, and they treat our dogs like they’re live stock, not part of the family. Thankfully we found Heritage in Hopedale. They’re better in every way possible, and found the issue that New Horizon repeatedly ignored.
Apr 09, 2025 · bill jenningsI love that they are a 24/7 facility. I have had to depend on that when my dogs previously got up in years. My new puppy goes to them now, and the two things negative that has been consistent is a couple techs having very little knowledge (I received wrong info a couple times from one in particular, so I called back after a bit and got to talk to a tech that I trusted bc I recognized her voice. Luckily these individuals usually get weeded out quickly). The second issue is they are never able to schedule very close to when you call in, you have to wait weeks even if it is a particular problem (as if extorting people knowing they will have to pay if they don’t want to be cruel to their babies). Otherwise I absolutely love one of the Veterinarian’s (even though all of them are great) and there are several techs that are awesome and have been there for years. When I see those particular techs or hear them on the phone, a calm washes over me knowing they are knowledgeable and care(just like today, phew). I do wish it was acknowledged how long certain people use their services, because it would definitely make people want to stay super loyal to them like I do with my own care. I myself have spent upwards of $5,000 and we are talking up into 5 digits. 🥴 Picture of my angels who led us to New Horizon, and Lilith who is now their primary care in our household that is left. To many more years and hopefully more babies.
Oct 11, 2021 · Ana SeebachMy dog got very sick, not eating and my own vet of over 20 years wouldn't see her for over 2 weeks! I called New Horizons Animal Hospital and they saw her the next day! Everyone there was very nice, very caring and supportive! Unfortunately she didn't make it. They cremated her for me. They showed great caring even in death. Her ashes were placed in a beautiful wooden box with a clay mold of her paw with her name and a beautiful poem! They will be my vet from now on!
