Newcastle Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners across the Oklahoma City metro area, particularly those in the south Oklahoma County region, Newcastle Animal Hospital stands out as a crucial resource for comprehensive and, notably, financially considerate Veterinary Care. Operating as a full-service Veterinarian facility, the hospital is equipped to manage the entire spectrum of a pet's health needs, from routine wellness to critical, complex surgical interventions.
The hospital's commitment to prioritizing a pet's life over exorbitant costs is perhaps its most compelling feature. In a documented case involving a dog with a severe blockage—a common and life-threatening emergency—another facility quoted an impossibly high price, forcing the owner into a desperate situation. Newcastle Animal Hospital stepped in, performed the necessary, urgent Surgery, and charged a fraction of the quoted price, demonstrating an extraordinary dedication to Compassion and Affordability. The grateful owner noted that the team treated their pup with urgency and genuine kindness, never making them feel forced to choose between their pet's life and financial stability. This integrity and focus on value are highly respected traits in the Oklahoma community.
However, transparency in customer service interactions is a critical element for any business, and feedback indicates that the front-office procedures, particularly regarding tardiness for appointments, could be improved. One client reported a very negative experience due to being two minutes late for a first-time appointment, citing rudeness and an unforgiving attitude from a staff member, which soured their initial impression. The general atmosphere of the reception area was also noted to have a noticeable odor, which is an unfortunate but addressable issue for a high-traffic Animal Hospital. While the clinical and emergency care offered by the veterinary staff is highly praised, prospective clients should be aware that punctuality is strictly enforced, and the front-end customer experience may vary.
Despite these administrative issues, the hospital’s core mission—delivering life-saving, expert medical attention at a transparent and reasonable cost—makes it an indispensable part of the Oklahoma Veterinary Care landscape. This balance of advanced capability, such as handling serious blockages and surgical procedures, and compassionate, affordable pricing is what makes it a recommended choice by many satisfied clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- When my dog had a serious blockage, another vet quoted me $10,000—yes, that’s the actual number, no typos here. I had to double-check that they weren’t also offering him a spa package and a five-star steak dinner. I was ready to start Googling how much a kidney goes for on the black market. Then I found Newcastle Animal Hospital. They didn’t even charge a quarter of that. But more importantly, they led with compassion. They treated my pup with urgency, care, and genuine kindness during one of the scariest days I’ve faced as a pet parent. Not once did they make me feel like I had to choose between my dog’s life and my savings account.I tell everyone I know about Newcastle Animal Hospital, and I’ll keep recommending them until they tell me to stop. - We tried to switch to this vet and we scheduled an appointment at 9:45 to go see if we liked the vet office, mostly. We pulled into thier parking lot at 9:46 and probably walked in at 9:47, which it was raining and everything was flooding, but we take full responsibility for being 2 mins late. But that doesn't give Britney the right to talk to us like she did. First thing I noticed when I walked in was it smelled like pee. Our other vet does not smell like pee. There was no one out in the lobby except a customer at first. Then a lady brought a dog out for the customer and told us someone would be right with us. A few minutes later another lady came out and asked if she could help us. We told her who we were and immediately it became an issue because we were late. She kept being very rude and kept saying it is 9:55 now. I tried to explain that we were about 1 or 2 mins late and she said that they already gave away our room. And she lied and said she was only in the back 2 mins but I can prove by google maps and probably thier cameras, that we got there at 9:46. The lady was very rude and lied too. We tried calling to talk yo someone in charge and could not. Their website said one lady was an office manager but when we called we were told she is an accountant not office manager. We were told that Brittany is the office manager and she was the lady that talked rude to us. So if your manager is this rude to customer that is sad. Our vet is actually really good but they changed a couple of policies so we was thinking about switching but if this is how they act I can just imagine how they will treat our dogs. We was told about this vet by someone we know but it is one of the worst customer service we have seen all for 2 mins late. So if you go here make sure you are early otherwise they will not see you. This is not how you should treat people. June 07 · James Cravens
- They got me in quick, saw my puppy. The vet was amazing. She was very slow and careful with my skittish dog. She showed me a trick to help with his behavior. April 12 · ZJXMaddog
- Great place. They take care of my dogs and treat them well. They explain everything and answer all of my many questions. February 26 · china lynch
