Nichol Jeff DVM Reviews
Dr Nichol was so helpful several years ago when we adopted a rescue dog with issues. His evaluation and advise was so insightful and effective. My daughter adopted a rescue a few months ago. The articles on the website helped us work through some unwelcome behaviors.
Jan 25, 2022 · Janice SmithI have a poodle that developed some serious anxiety / fear-based aggression. We tried everything but it seemed like we had plateaued so we decided to try Dr. Nichol. I'm happy to say that we've continued to make progress and my fur baby is slowly getting better. We still have some work to do, but so far Dr. Nichol has been very understanding and attentive to my poodle's needs. Its been about a year and I don't have anything negative to say about his approach or the progress we've made. I know that behavioral issues can't be cured overnight and take a lot of consistent work, and that's why I'm so appreciative of Dr. Nichol. I can just email him whenever I find myself with a new concern or whatever it may be, and he responds to me with as much advice as possible.
Oct 21, 2020 · Heidi LancasterDr. Nichol is very knowledgeable. He is thorough. He is kind. He wants the very best for pets who suffer. I highly elrecommend him for dogs and cats that interact with the world a little differently and just need some help.
Jan 11, 2023 · KA YoungI've run into a few pet owners now who have had to euthanize their dogs specifically because they followed Jeff Nichol's advice. I consulted him with a very bad behavioral problem a few years ago; I was pretty horrified by the advice he gave me. Evidently anyone can hang out a shingle as an "animal behaviorist", even people who might need a little help themselves. I left his office feeling sorry for his family and any pet owner who goes to him. If you do the opposite of everything he tells you, you might actually solve your problem. Or just go find someone better - there are a few good people in Albuquerque. Just not this one. OH, and if you get his paper from Animal Humane, read it and do the opposite of everything it tells you. Then throw it away.
Nov 20, 2019 · Dave KlinglerYou will always have prompt care for your pets. Very friendly staff.
