Nothing worse than having to bring your pet to an emergency vet while on vacation! Northward Animal Emergency Clinic were amazing. Open on a holiday weekend, took my dog right in. Everyone was compassionate from the lovely ladies at the front desk, pet care tech and the doctors. Great communication and care. Thankful we found them and got out dog back to health and to us the next day.
May 27, 2025 · Erin HanlonWe recently required the care of Northway Emergency for our dog Scarlett. Scarlett ended up having to stay at the hospital for treatment and monitoring for 2 nights. The team ant Northway Emergency took excellent care of Scarlett. She had previously never been away from home and tends to be a nervous dog. The staff were so kind and caring, heard my concerns, and did everything they could to make Scarlett (and I) comfortable and happy during her stay. From the receptionist to the vet techs and Vet I spoke to throughout the 2 day stay, every SINGLE one was so compassionate and caring. This made ALL the difference when dealing with a scary/unknown situation.I would absolutely entrust the care of my animals to Northway Emergency again in the future.
Apr 19, 2025 · Rebecca BaldwinExceptionally kind and caring staff. I had brought my dog Penny by this past Friday for bloating around her abdomen. They were technically closed when I arrived, but allowed me to wait in the lobby while the Vet arrived. Office staff was very warm and welcoming, they offered Penny (my dog) blankets to lay on, and often walked by to check on how we were doing. After the vet arrived he conducted a thorough assessment, and immediately informed me of his findings. We spoke about her age, condition, and her quality of life going forward. Unfortunately the prognosis wasn't favorable, but I appreciate his candor, and the fact that he didn't try and sugar-coat things.Penny ultimately passed that evening. The great care, professionalism, and understanding made what was, without a doubt, the worst day of my life a little bit better.Sitting here looking at her empty bed still brings me to tears, but the compassion extended to me by the staff has made all the difference.
Feb 24, 2025 · James BittelI cannot understand how anyone rated this team under 5 stars. They helped us through the most difficult time in a pet owner’s life. The time where you need to think about your little family members quality of life more than how much you will miss them. My mother’s dog became ill, our normally veterinarian wasn’t able to help much. We took our little guy to Northway Animal Emergency Clinic. They immediately took him in, assessed him, communicated with us consistently, and walked us through every step and laid out options, they were direct, honest, caring and thorough. In the end we exhausted our options, recognized we did everything that made sense, and finally let him go peacefully. We truly appreciate the experience provided by Cindy and Betty and the front desk. Eric the nurse tech, and the professional and kind nature of Dr Dibari. Thank you all for making a truly difficult time most positive experience possible. If you ever need immediate assistance for your animal don’t hesitate to utilize their services.
Feb 01, 2025 · Heinz PichlerBeyond happy with the care and attention my dog received during their visit. After discussing initial treatment and waiting on medication to be filled, I noticed more issues. I informed the receptionist and veterinarian came out very quickly to observe and think through any additional possibilities. Never felt pressured to do screenings that would have been inconclusive and my pup is already starting to feel better at home with support. Thank you!
