NOVA Cat Clinic Reviews
I recently boarded my cat at NOVA Cat Clinic for a week. Not only did they have excellent top tier care but Susana did an amazing job sending updates with so many adorable pics (she definitely deserves a raise!). I felt so much better and was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my cat was in good hands. I am so happy that I have found a place that has such great vet and boarding care. I will definitely be boarding my cat here again! This is truly a million stars/5 stars place! NOVA cat clinic has it all!
Aug 12, 2024 · Mariana Felix-KimI just too my sweet gingers ‘Poppy and Bert” to NOVA cat clinic for their annual wellness. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Dr. Torres answered my many questions and was great with my cats, she provided medicine for my male who had an eye infection.I felt so welcome and my cats received great care. The front desk staff were great and making an appointment was easy.
Jan 29, 2025 · Sarah Chart-Harttook great care of my extremely vet-phobic cat. i really appreciate that everything is done in the room with you and that they don’t take your cat “to the back” for vaccines/tests. helped me understand my cats immune disorder and were also able to quickly get me in when she got an ear infection. i would have continued using this clinic but i moved out of state.
Jul 10, 2024 · AI had been coming to Nova Cat Clinic since I have been in DC for the past 6 years. The staff and doctors that saw my Destiny were nothing short of amazing. They were always really good about listening to any potential concerns and making sure I adhered to Destiny's follow up appointments. Unfortunately, Destiny transitioned 2 weeks ago--I received a personal email from her doctor as well as a handwritten card signed by the staff giving their sympathies during this time. That is a genuine and personal touch that is appreciated more than you know. For anyone who is looking for a veterinary office that specifically takes care of kitties, I HIGHLY recommend!
Dec 29, 2024 · Dania JosephThe staff and physician were pleasant. The initial phone call to them I requested someone who had experience with toygers and Bengals, they promised that the vet had ample experience with them. When we saw the vet she stated this is the first Toyger she had seen. The Vet recommended some panels on both of our cats. The overview sheet that was brought in by the tech after was Roughly $1000 different from what the Vet recommended as more labs and exams were added to it. The Vet came back and removed the exams off the summary they were not pertinent. After getting the labs back a general information sheet was sent. I followed up to that email with questions as one of our cats was not better and she had recommended antibiotics if she was not better. The Vet never responded. After paying quite a bit of money for labs and waiting a week beyond the time expected, I emailed them and found they had the results for about a week and they had not reached out as our vet was on leave. I requested the script to move forward with treatment for my cats hyperthyroidism, but was met the news that I have to have a $85 consult to go over risks. When I spoke with the manager of the clinic I was very frustrated and moreso by her snarky attitude. I am trying to just get treatment for my cat and move on from this clinic and she was more concerned by a gotcha moment of me misspeaking. I am now looking for a new vet to treat what is already diagnosed. This is the one vet I have been where it felt like a strict cash grab.
