Oklahoma Spay Network Introduce
For pet owners in Oklahoma, the decision to spay or neuter a pet is one of the most important choices they can make for their animal's long-term health and for the community at large. In the Durant area, Oklahoma Spay Network stands as a dedicated and essential resource for this vital service. This organization is committed to combating pet overpopulation by providing high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services. They understand that the cost of veterinary care can be a significant barrier for many families, which is why they have made it their mission to make these procedures accessible and affordable. The network operates with a clear focus on community welfare, aiming to reduce the number of homeless and unwanted animals. Their work is a blend of professional medical care and a deep-seated commitment to animal welfare. They offer a no-frills, highly efficient service that focuses on the core task of sterilization, which in turn helps prevent a host of health and behavioral problems in pets. While they specialize in this specific type of care, the professionalism of their staff and the quality of their work is something that has earned them a strong reputation in the community. For those seeking to be responsible pet owners and contribute to a healthier community, the Oklahoma Spay Network is a valuable partner in this endeavor.
The Oklahoma Spay Network is located at 2925 N Roberta Rd, Durant, OK 74701, a convenient location that serves the local community. It is important to note that as a spay/neuter clinic, their services are often streamlined and function on a different model than a full-service animal hospital. While the provided information does not specify accessibility features like wheelchair ramps or restrooms, their primary goal is to make essential veterinary care accessible to as many people as possible. Their model often includes mobile services, which brings their care directly to various communities, greatly enhancing accessibility for those who may have limited transportation. The nature of their work focuses on small surgeries in a very specific context, which is to spay or neuter pets efficiently. The clinic's operations are typically appointment-based, which helps them manage the high volume of animals they treat. As mentioned in a customer review, it can be challenging to get a quick response, but once on the waitlist, the process is streamlined. This kind of communication style, while potentially frustrating for some, is a byproduct of their high demand and commitment to serving a large population with limited resources. This focus on efficiency allows them to keep their costs low, which is the primary reason why many people choose their services. Their physical location and mobile services work in tandem to ensure that essential pet care is within reach for a wide range of Oklahomans.
The Oklahoma Spay Network focuses on a specialized set of services centered on spay/neuter procedures. This concentration allows them to be highly efficient and cost-effective in their operations. The very nature of their business model is a highlight, as it is driven by a mission to address pet overpopulation, which is a major concern in Oklahoma and across the nation. While a traditional veterinary hospital offers a wide range of services, this network specializes in a critical area of pet health and community welfare: spaying and neutering. The most compelling reason to choose this clinic is the unbeatable combination of professional care and affordability. As one review notes, "The cost is very reasonable," which is the primary goal of the organization. For pet owners who might otherwise be unable to afford the procedure, this service is a lifesaver for both their pet and the community. The positive feedback from a customer who was "happy" with the care provided to their cat, despite the initial communication frustration, underscores the quality of the medical services. The fact that they offer additional basic services like vaccinations and nail trims is a helpful bonus. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Called several times & left multiple messages. Took over a week to get a text message saying they were accepting names for the wait list. Directions were to leave your pet name, gender, and breed. No one ever tried calling me back, so I never talked to an actual person. However, I think I did take one of my cats there to be neutered about 5 years ago. Everyone was nice & professional. Took great care of my cat. The cost is very reasonable. I would have given 5 stars, but since I called several times & never received a call back, it was a little frustrating.
January 15 · Diana IgleheartThey are taking care of my Goldie today. They offer shots for respiratory, rabies, worm, nails, etc. Good people. I must add my girl is a scared cat, she was there at 830 am and was in her carrier on a shelf for 5 hours before her turn. Im not sure what the answer is,,if I knew could have stayed with her outside.
March 13 · Toni HemmatiThey are clean, professional and caring people. They took really good care of my 7mo old boy and the prices are manageable. I've always used them for spaying and neutering!
June 11 · Shirley FraizeWe got my cousins dog fixed she wouldn't eat after. Then 3 days later she started throwing up. Thursday she took her back Friday to see what was wrong. They advised her the dog had pravo. They gave her liquids and antibiotics, but wouldnt admit the dog came in contact with it while in their care. Today is Sunday a week later from the initial visit and my cousin found their dog dead. The dog was completely fine prior to the visit. Be cautious if you have young dogs taking them here.
May 14 · DeAnn DavisI've had two cats one spay one nutered, all shots and wormed. It was $37.00 each time. All was done so well and in a timely manner. I will be using them to keep my cats vetted. My cats are strays ,and it's nice that on my low income I can prevent them from disease, and unwanted litters.
