★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I'D SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER CLINIC...RUNNNNN!I’ve been a loyal client at Payne Ranch Veterinarian Clinic for over 15 years, trusting Dr. Joan with my pets. While Dr. Joan is nice and knowledgeable, today’s experience was ruined by a staff member, Jeannie (or Gennie, not sure of the spelling). What should have been a simple visit for my dog’s shot turned into an uncomfortable political debate. Jeannie insisted on discussing her views on Trump and Biden, and when I tried to steer the conversation back to my dog’s care, she continued to push her personal views. She needed to stay in her place as an employee.Instead of focusing on my dog’s needs, Jeannie kept engaging in the debate, even shouting her unfounded nonsense as I was leaving. It was not only unprofessional but also uncomfortable for everyone in the clinic. When I spoke to Dr. Joan about the situation, I was surprised by her lack of concern. She didn’t apologize for Jeannie’s behavior, instead brushing it off as though it was just her sharing both sides. For me, this is unacceptable. (During the visit, Dr. Joan looked uncomfortable about Jeannie's behavior.)I asked Dr. Joan for the days Jeannie works because I simply don’t want to go through the same thing again. Every time I’m there, Jeannie insists on sharing her views and life history, and I don’t want to be forced into uncomfortable political debates or having to listen to her boring stories about people who I have never even met. I'd rather focus on my pet’s care, but She never stops talking, and it’s clear others in the waiting room feel the same way.At this point, I’m going to another vet. I was a loyal client and spend between $200 to $350 each time I visit. If this unprofessionalism with Jeannie continues, I can’t help but think that Payne Ranch Vet will keep losing clients over it.
March 21 · NesWhen we had to take our 2 year old mixed breed cat to the vet, we chose this place because it was a short (about 5 minutes) drive from our house, and we were not disappointed. This is a great clinic. The vet was very helpful, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We went on a Saturday morning, so they were a little busy, but we were in and out of there within an hour or so. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is caring and helpful. The care provided is very considerate, kind, and gentle. If you are interested in taking your cat here, bear in mind that this particular vet serves mostly dogs (at least there were several there when we went). Overall, however, we had an excellent experience and would probably go there again if the need arises. :)
September 10 · Noelle SorensenWe had been taking my cat here for almost 17 years. Dr. Joan, Nueva & Jeanie are amazing caring and so very sweet. My cat was very feisty and difficult to deal with, which would stress me out, but they are so kind and calm me to know my girl was in good hands. Unfortunately we lost her almost a month ago after 18 years and Joan was there to make things as easy as possible. Such love and care they showed us. I consider them my friends and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and you too will be happy with them.
March 13 · BooknuttSecond occurrence in which the service was horrible. I am finishing up my puppies vaccinations and this is the second time in which I am waiting for over 45min (after appointment time) to have my puppy seen. No prior notification/no updates/no follow up. After 46 min of waiting I finally called the front desk and the excuse that was given to me was that my number on file was incorrect. How funny... I have visited this place three times and in all instances I was contacted no issues; the consistent lack of service/poor customer experience is the reason I gave up on this place. A simple call to apologize for the wait was all I needed; my puppies final round of shot(s) will be in August; the last time I visit this place. Please try avoiding this place if you can. I will try chino hills animal hospital and pet resort.
July 27 · William L.I have been taking my Doxies to this clinic for years. The care is excellent and compassionate. The team recently saved the life of my Doxie-Bebee, and I am so grateful. Bebee had a hemorrhagic entercolites. The prices are reasonable and they love these little patients. Could not say enough!
