★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1There aren't enough stars for me to give Dr. Servantez. We had to say goodbye to our handsome Charlie after 15 years together, and while it is always one of the hardest decisions to make, I am sooo thankful for finding Dr. Servantez. From the initial phone consultation to the final goodbye, she handled everything with such compassion, respect, education, and grace. She did an amazing job explaining the process, but not once did it feel like a business transaction. I am so thankful we got to have a peaceful transition for Charlie and ourselves. I will recommend her services to anyone.
July 03 · Samantha KrolikowskiI cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Servantez. She was compassionate and gentle with both Roo and I during a difficult time. She helped my beautiful girl crossover in a peaceful manner. No stress, no loud noises, just me holding her telling her how much I love her. Thank you so very much Dr. Servantez you’re a beautiful soul.
July 16 · DeAnn WheelessI hate that I have to leave this review at all. But I just moved to the area from cross country and my dog was diagnosed with an ambiguous end, so out of sheer desperation I asked a local Facebook group if they could recommend an at home bridge vet and Paw in Hand was BY FAR the most recommended. I called everyone and frankly Dr S was the only one who even bothered to call me back. She went above and beyond and thanks to her I got answers (the big c, f cancer) almost an entire extra month with my dog and he didn't suffer. I texted and said today is the day and she was at my door less than 5 hours later. She made time. She explained step by step what she was doing, before and as she was doing it and what to expect. She was kind enough to wait while I walked my other dog quick, before starting anything. She stepped out so I could have that time alone with him both before and after he fell asleep for the last time. She even gave me a hug, a real hug before leaving. I can't tell you the last some someone gave me a hug of any kind much less one like that. She was kind, prepared, respectful and it was painless. My dog was ready to go and she is not the kind of vet that will lie to you, she will help tell you if it's time or not if you aren't sure, like I wasn't. I've never had to do this before and thanks to Dr S I got 3 extra weeks and the knowledge I made the right choice. For the dog I thought I didn't want and now don't know how to live without.Captain Jack Barkness February 8 2013- July 13 2025.Thank you Dr S for your compassion, honestly and care.Update: 3 weeks to the day she brought my baby back to me, with beautiful paw and nose prints. She even looked at the newborn kitten I found that very same day, I had just walked in the door when she arrived. I'm honestly kind of sad I don't have a "need" for Dr S now, she's been an immense support and an absolute fountain of knowledge. She will be the ONLY one I call in the future. Did i mention she's affordable? Half the cost of in the vets office and a third of the price of laps of love. She is BUSY so give her grace and time to answer, she will. Thank you again for the hugs and info Dr S. Really. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because I would have given up if it wasn't for you.Hands down the most compassionate vet I've encountered in 40 states. She's honest. She's informed. She's kind. She's affordable. She treats you and your baby like you're the only ones in the world. 🤍
August 04 · Layla Stryker (Lucy)One of the hardest things to do when you love a pet is to say goodbye. Dr. Servantes helped make that hard thing a little bit easier. She was responsive, quick with availability, compassionate, and so soft and kind. Thanks to her we were able to provide a loving trip over the rainbow for our beloved boy. I am very grateful to her for providing this immeasurably hard, but necessary service with dignity and grace.
July 16 · Janelle BurmasterYou will not find a better veterinarian to provide end of life euthanasia. I knew my Husky's time was getting close and had started calling around to get cost estimates for someone to come out. I was stressed because of my financial situation and didnt know if I could have him cremated like I had hoped. I didnt know what to do, except he was too big for me to transport and when I knew it was time, I also knew it needed to be done that day. I ended up searching for other mobile services because no one was available and found PawInHand. Dr Servantez came out that afternoon and provided euthanasia. The reverence this woman has for this line of work is palpable. Watching her interact and provide him care, allowing us the space to say our goodbyes and assuring us throughout the process, was so appreciated. I knew he would be safe when her and her assistant carried him on a stretcher to her vehicle and covered him in a soft blanket. When she brought back his ashes they were in a beautiful wooden box placed in a bag, with other extras she included to make it even more special.Because her service fees with private cremation were 30-50 percent lower than other vets in the area, I was able to provide my sweet boy everything he deserved. Having to say goodbye to a piece of your heart with Dr. Servantez by your side was priceless!
