Pet Vet – Roanoke Reviews
I don’t even know where to start! Top notch all the way around. If I could give 10 stars I would. I had to put my 12-year-old Doberman down due to cancer and health issues. Such a tragic event but boy did they make it comfortable. They went above and beyond to make this experience as peaceful and special as possible. I highly recommend pet vet. I wish I had found them for all my pets needs before it was too late. I will be switching my other pets medical information to them. Great experience all the way around from the receptionist, doctor, assistant, and all those behind the scene. Great job pet vet!
Jun 05, 2025 · Jerri MorfaEveryone is above and beyond friendly and helpful. The Vet even saved me $500 on a procedure I've been getting done unnecessarily. The front desk didn't get annoyed with my questions and provided a separate invoice for my insurance. Usually I'm really embarrassed about one of my dogs anxiety issues, but they've never been judgy. Great vet all around.
Mar 14, 2025 · Kendall GarrisonI have a very sweet car who is genuinely really friendly with people and other vets. It should also be noted we are very close and he has never had any intent to harm me or anything like that before. However, during my visit my cat was taken out of the room for a check up. When he came back he was so unhappy and upset, he hissed, attempted to scratch, and bit me which again is very unusual for him. He is a very sweet cat, whose good with people and other animals. So, I’m not sure what happened while he was taken out of the room but I know he wasn’t treated nicely. They wouldn't even do an X-ray on him without sedation, which is risky for the condition he has as there is a possibility of causing a seizure. He has never had to be sedated in the past according to my records because he’s always cooperated. I really believe this behavior is from the treatment he received as it was the end of the day and they were likely not patient with him because he was a bit nervous. But, we did have a different vet this time as we usually have Dr.Ortiz but this time we had Dr. Epperly. I am currently debating if I we need to switch vets because they are not very kind with their care as they would rather sedate him (with the risk if causing him to have a seizure) than be patient with him. Which is not the type of care I want for an pet that I consider family.
May 30, 2025 · Kay BelcherAwesome Vet! They truly care about the animals and not just $. Will be my new Vet from now on! Got my cat Rusty all good to go in one visit! ❤️🙏.
Jan 16, 2025 · Bryan DundaOnce again this place did an outstanding job. We recently lost one of our Rottweiler je had been a patient at this vet since he was a little puppy and not only were we upset every staff member felt that pain they went up and beyond to save himThey are absolutely great and we still have our other fur babies that go here. You find another vet and staff who genuinely care for your fur babies and treat and love them as they are there own babies.
