I brought my newer rescue in today for an illness exam. It was easy to schedule online and there was availability starting an hour from the time I booked. From the beginning of the appointment, the staff was friendly and welcoming and immediately addressed him by name and were familiar with my concerns as input on his appointment request form. It was obvious they had taken the time to check his notes prior to us arriving and didn’t make me repeat information already provided (not a big deal but definitely a nice touch!) The facility is clean and very modern— you can tell this place is new (in a good way!) Mary was dedicated to making sure my pup felt comfortable and worked hard to make his experience a good one. Dr. Caldwell was also great, and didn’t try to push any unnecessary treatments— we’re starting small and working our way up if needed. The team was very honest and open about pricing, which can also be found on the website, so I wasn’t shocked by an unexpected fees. His exam and medicine was less than expected, and we left with a plan to return if needed. I was hesitant to try this place out because it only had 2 reviews, but that’s only due to them having recently opened a few weeks ago. We will definitely be back (but hopefully not too soon!)

Excellent personnel, Erin and Mary were outstanding regarding our pups and were so considerate with the umbrella as it was raining. Dr Caldwell, very personable and knowledgeable. I am incredibly impressed with Petfolk. The facility is impeccable, the staff was amazing, and they took excellent care of my kitty. Dr.Caldwell and the Vet Tech, Erica, are wonderful. Erica welcomed me at the door and knew my cat’s name. Absolutely wonderful!

I had a five star experience at Petfolk today. Dr. Maitre, Erin, and Mary provided my pregnant and feral cat with professional and compassionate care. This veterinary team willingly and lovingly agreed to treat this kitty with everything that she needs so that she is medically sound, healthy, and able to deliver her kittens soon. I was so impressed with the team's kindness, patience, and competence. They spent over two hours with my cat, answered all of my questions (even emailed me articles about feline pregnancy), and took appropriate precautions (no vaccines until after delivery). Sending gratitude and many thank you's!! I have decided to use Petfolk for my other cats, as well.

I was looking for a different primary vet for my dog and this place was recommended by VEG Emergency Care. Both are located in the St. Johns Town Center. All the vets and vet techs at Petfolk Jacksonville are wonderful and caring. Very friendly, efficient, and professional. I like that I can schedule an appointment online for same or next day service. The services and pricing structure are very transparent on their website. What I like most is that I get to stay with my dog when she gets her monthly Cytopoint injections or can watch through the glass wall if they take her back for a procedure. I became a member which eliminates the office visit fee and provides a percentage off on some procedures. Their reminder and follow-up communications are great and much appreciated. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a vet.
