Petwell Veterinary Center Reviews
I visited this facility on June 7th because it was the only place that had any openings for my cat. Dr. E was kind and courteous and did a great job with making sure me and my cat were taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone that needs their pet seen ASAP.
Jun 19, 2025 · Hazel AmodiaI assisted a client to the clinic to say goodbye to her beloved 14yo dog. This is not the regular vet but the dog was really sick. The person who administered the medicine was, imo, heartless. I've seen animals put to sleep before and it was not handled like this. She administered the meds, checked the heartbeat, and said "Sorry for your loss.ok she's gone. Let me know when you're done and we'll come get her." Really?! The family is in pieces and that's the best you can do? When my 2 animals were put to sleep, at another vet, everyone was so kind and thoughtful. They light a candle at the front so ppl know someone is grieving a loss. This was just ridiculous. Would never go back.
Oct 04, 2024 · Stacey BillupsToday we had to put our Yorkshire down unexpected. He was in kidney failure.. First time ever been to pet well veterinarian and I found the place to be exceptionally clean and Dr. E was compassionate and understanding. Dr E was wonderful she let us take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I fully recommend this place
Dec 31, 2022 · Sharon TumminelloI took my cat in due to a cough. I left him there for the afternoon. Dr. E was very professional and I appreciated the promptness of the appointment. However, when I returned, I was given a bill for $792 and told he has bronchitis secondary to allergies. Although I understand that it is important to be thorough, there was NO communication about the tests that would be performed on my pet or an estimate of cost for the visit. They performed X rays, a complete blood work up, thyroid tests, SDMA(kidney tests), and trimmed his nails without ever asking, calling, or notifying me. I was not told the charge for these procedures until after they had been performed. I am disappointed in the poor communication and the superfluous tests. I have had a good experience before, but now cannot trust that they will communicate with me on the charges and procedures in the future. She is a good vet and helped my cat but there was no clear communication on the tests (and costs) performed.
