Mar 19, 2025 · Chris PetersonWhen I relocated to Seven Lakes, family members recommended Pinehills Vet for my senior dog, Dude. We were in an interesting situation where Dude lived in two places so, I spoke with the Vet about establishing Dude for arthritis shots and general needs when not at his primary Vet. I am so grateful to Pinehills for agreeing to this because, little did I know, I would need them for much more.Dude visited Pinehills twice before passing away. He really liked how Dr. Lowery would get on his level to examen him; he didn't like the cold table. He was being treated for health concerns by his other vet and, there was a strong possibility he had cancer. His health took a sharp turn quickly and sadly. I was able to get him an appointment at Pinehills the same morning I called. When I brought him in, they were attentive and quick. Dr. Diem was direct and kind. I appreciated her communication style during this stressful time. It was a great balance of seriousness, clarity, concern, and care. She gave me options and after sharing my thoughts the decision was clear. She explained every step in a soft but attentive way; not overly emotional (as I was already emotional).I do have additional thoughts and feedback on how to make the whole process slightly less chaotic and fractured. While communication was top notch, and the care was clear, there were aspects of the process that seemed disjointed. I would like to think it was because they didn't really know what to expect when I brought Dude in. His decline had progressed very quickly. To be honest, it was a sad and tough situation and I can only imagine it was hard for them too.I have no question where I will take any future pet. Thank you to Drs. Diem and Lowery and the Pinehills Vet team. They knew Dude only a short time but they were there when he (and I) needed them most. I am so grateful.
Jun 06, 2025 · Catherine AllenAfter Dr Garza left, my first impression of the two vets that bought the practice was pretty good. My third visit was for a yearly exam on my cat. The vet pushed and pushed me into getting vax that I made clear I didn’t want/need (I get the rabies vax as it is important in our area and required by the state). I’ve worked at the front of vet clinics for the better part of the last 20 years. I’m not ignorant or uninformed. My choice and voice was never heard nor acknowledged. Allan and Shauna are wonderful! They are still there from when Dr Garza owned the practice. I will miss them. But I will NOT be going back.
Jun 21, 2025 · Theresa HornbakerI am very grateful to Pinehills Veterinary Hospital for providing laser treatments. I have a small 15 yo who was struggling with arthritis in addition to kidney disease. We started laser treatments with the hope that it would help with her arthritis pain and in turn help her appetite. I have been greatly pleased with the results. She is eating better and is not constantly restless trying to get comfortable. Her quality of life has improved exponentially.
Mar 27, 2025 · Joy DowdalEverybody we met today was phenomenal. Took wonderful care of our cats, went through all the questions and answers so it was easy to understand, as well as medication administration, etc. I felt at ease having this team caring for our girls. Thanks for a great first vet visit!
