For pet owners in Lawrenceville, Georgia, finding a veterinary practice that can provide comprehensive care for every stage of a pet’s life is a top priority. Premier Veterinary Hospital aims to be that trusted partner, offering a broad spectrum of services that range from preventative care to urgent and critical medical attention. Located conveniently in the heart of Lawrenceville, this hospital is designed to meet the diverse health needs of dogs and cats in the local community. The hospital's approach combines modern veterinary medicine with compassionate care, ensuring that your furry family members receive the attention and treatment they deserve. This article will provide a detailed overview of what makes Premier Veterinary Hospital a key resource for pet owners, exploring its location, services, and the unique features that set it apart.
The hospital’s philosophy centers on building a strong relationship with clients and their pets, treating each animal as an individual. As noted in a positive review from a client who travels over an hour for their English Bulldog's appointments, the staff is "very friendly and helpful," and Dr. Ross takes the time to "address all my concerns" and explain things in a way that is easy to understand. This level of communication and personal attention is crucial for pet owners, especially when dealing with specific breeds or complex health issues. The dedication of the team to ensuring that clients feel informed and supported is a significant part of the hospital's appeal. They understand that a pet is a cherished member of the family, and their care reflects this deep-seated belief.
However, it is important to acknowledge that not all experiences may be the same. While some clients, like the English Bulldog owner, praise the communication and care, other reviews have raised concerns about service and communication, particularly in urgent situations. These conflicting views highlight the importance of personal experience and finding a clinic that aligns with your expectations. Premier Veterinary Hospital, like any medical practice, is a place where different individuals may have different outcomes. The negative feedback regarding "negligent service" and "worst communications" provides a perspective that is equally important for potential clients to consider. It underscores the need for pet owners to weigh all available information and determine what is most important for their pet's care. This article presents a balanced view to help you make the best choice for your family.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely love Dr. Ross and her entire staff. I travel over a hour 1 way to take my Rocky there for his appointments. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Ross takes the times to address all my concerns about my Rocky and explains things in a way that I understand. I would highly recommend to anyone but especially to anyone that’s an English Bulldog owner
July 04 · DebbyBad Bad Bad. Worst communications of any veterinary clinic. Negligent service. Dr. Ross incompetently misdiagnosed our dog and then disappeared for a week. She won’t return calls or emails. It’s crazy. Anyone considering this place should reconsider. I’m happy to show proof to anyone interested. If you love your furry one, please go elsewhere
July 30 · Rusty WellsThis vet has been my family's vet for 20 years. We have done everything from routine scheduled visits to emergencies to having end of life care. They are always friendly, caring and professional. Truly wonderful people.
June 11 · Carl ClaymoreI do like the staff and doctors here; however, the business practices they are involved in are ineffective and could potentially cause further issues. They do not accept walk-ins—you must make an appointment. This is somewhat understandable until you are having an emergency with your animal. We were told our animal would need emergency surgery, but that they were closing soon and wouldn’t be able to help us. On the one hand, it's very understandable to want to go home. But from a pet owner’s position—having already tried to get our animal seen earlier, only to be turned away because we needed an appointment—being told later that it was an emergency requiring immediate surgery made me feel like the people working here care more about the time they get home than our animals. For routine checkups, scheduled shots, and general care, I have no doubt that the staff here are passionate and care about their jobs. However, once something becomes serious, they are going to send you to the emergency vet—after billing you for that information.Their phone system and app are definitely still working out some bugs from the merger. The phone message states they are a different company with different hours, and their app, online records, and physical records are all inconsistent. Before scheduling any shots, make sure your animal actually needs them first.
June 12 · Morgan RoseDr. McGee and the vet tech team took their time, were compassionate, caring, and explained everything to me. From beginning to end, I have had the best experiences for both my dog and cat at Premier Veterinary Hospital.
