What is worth choosing:
When selecting a veterinary care provider, pet owners look for a combination of expertise, convenience, and trust. Georgia Veterinary Associates Inc offers a unique model that integrates multiple services under one roof, making it a highly practical choice for busy Georgia families. The ability to access routine veterinary care, emergency services, pet grooming, and boarding at a single location simplifies pet care management significantly. This comprehensive approach is a major selling point, as it streamlines appointments and ensures continuity of care for your pet. The wide range of specialized services, from Stem Cell Therapy to Veterinary Acupuncture, also indicates a commitment to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, offering advanced treatment options that may not be available at smaller clinics.
However, it is important for potential customers to be aware of the experiences of other clients. While the clinic provides a broad scope of services, it is critical to note that some customer reviews describe highly negative experiences, citing issues with communication, customer service, and even the quality of care. For example, one review alleges that an unauthorized surgery was performed on a cat and that the wrong medication was given, leading to a "horrible experience." Another review speaks to frustrations with being charged for an unsuccessful exam and being added to numerous mailing lists without consent. These reviews suggest that while the clinic offers extensive services, there may be inconsistencies in patient care and communication. This makes it imperative for new clients to do their due diligence, ask detailed questions, and ensure they have a clear understanding of all procedures and costs before proceeding with any treatment. It’s advisable to have open and frequent communication with the staff and to feel confident that your concerns are being heard and addressed. The fact that the clinic has received such strong negative feedback is a significant consideration for anyone looking for a long-term veterinary partner. It highlights the importance of trusting your instincts and ensuring that the clinic's practices align with your personal expectations for transparency and care.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION. If i could give 0 stars i would. Had horrible experience here. Performed an unauthorized open surgery on my cat without any communication even though I repeatedly called them to ask for updates (they neglected to say anything). Furthermore, just to show further incompetence: gave my cat a pain med that works AGAINST her pre-existing medication (which once again is in her records, and was something i reminded them of consistently.) Btw found that out from another vet as i felt obligated to get a second opinion after this whole fiasco. Was hung up on when I tried to communicate with person over phone about my frustration. Horrible customer service. Uncaring, incompetent people. They did both my cat and I a huge disservice for over 3 days. I regret ever stepping foot in this establishment. Also has two store fronts listed, this one and Russell Ridge… weird and shady practice
January 18 · April ClarkThey charged us 40$ for them to take our cat out of the carrier, be too scared to do anything, put him back in the carrier, and send him home. They told us it would be 50$ more to sedate him. They did absolutely nothing but make us wait for over a hour just to charge us for them taking our cat out and putting him back. And then they signed us up for amillion different mailing lists, post card, email, text reminders, check up calls, "Hi Our records indicate that it's about time we see your cat for the following veterinary services:Examination: Wellness Comprehensive" YOU TRIED TO DO THAT YESTERDAY AND WERE TOO SCARED AND CHARGED US WHY WOULD WE COME BACK AND TRY IT AGAIN?!. What a load!
October 16 · Sean Van ValkenburghHorrible customer service. Horrible care for animals. I have a puppy that had an accident called them because they are the only location open on a Sunday and state they see emergencies. Well I was refused because they really don't see emergencies just appointments. When I asked the lady, who was very rude and was talking over me and refused to give me her name, "why do you state on your hold call back music you see emergencies and on the web you see emergencies?" She couldn't say, and just said we see emergencies. Russel ridge animal hospital has 0 consideration for pets that need to be seen. I will be letting EVERYONE I know about or experience!!!
August 27 · Kirsten EatonHighly highly highly recommend going here, my puppies came down with a bad case of parvo which is incurable to my knowledge and dr Williams saved them! I never had a good feeling with other vets and was skeptical at first but everyone was so nice! They immediately rushed us and dr Williams made us feel comfortable she was patient and understanding and answered all of our questions, she saved my puppies life and I couldn’t thank her enough. Please please take your pups here! (Russell ridge location)
July 28 · Celeste GarciaI can't say enough how TERRIFIC the Dr's, Nurses, and all of the Staff at GV were!! My beloved friend Max had to be put to sleep it was a shock and very painful. EVERYONE there, saw and felt or grief and did everything they could to ease his passing for Max and for our family. They even sent us a sympathy card. I will forever be grateful to them! ❤❤
