Operating as a full-service animal hospital and veterinary pharmacy, Ralston Vet is committed to providing top-tier healthcare for both dogs and cats at every stage of their lives—from playful puppies and kittens to wise senior companions.
What truly sets this facility apart is its dedication to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Ralston Vet is proud to be American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Accredited. This accreditation is voluntary and is achieved by less than 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada. This rigorous process involves being evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards covering everything from patient care and pain management to diagnostic imaging, surgery, and facility cleanliness. For Nebraska pet families, this means choosing a hospital that voluntarily holds itself to the most stringent benchmarks in the industry.
The team’s passion for animal welfare is consistently highlighted in local client testimonials. For instance, pet owners have shared their immense gratitude for veterinarians like Dr. Meyer and Dr. Anderson, who go "above and beyond" when pets are seriously ill. One client recounts how, when their dog became ill, Dr. Meyer was able to quickly determine the necessary diagnostic measures and a treatment plan, even working after hours and moving appointments to ensure the pet received timely, critical care without having to resort to the costly emergency room. This level of personalized, proactive, and compassionate service is a core tenet of the Ralston Vet experience.
Furthermore, Ralston Vet is an employee-owned veterinary hospital. This structure fosters a deep sense of commitment and pride among the staff, which directly translates into the quality of care and client service provided. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We love Ralston Vet and would recommend them to anyone! My two dogs have been going here since they were puppies and Dr. Meyer and Dr. Anderson have taken great care of them. Recently our dog Ditka has been quite ill and Dr. Meyer and the staff at Ralston Vet have gone above and beyond to help us get to the bottom of this. Dr. Meyer knew exactly which diagnostic measures to take and came up with a treatment plan quickly. He was able to sneak us in on busy days instead of us paying for the emergency vet, moved our dog’s ultrasound up a few days even when they were full and spoke to me extensively during his lunch hour and after work hours to walk me through everything. You can tell how passionate and caring he and the rest of the team are there. Words cannot express how grateful we are! Thank you Ralston Vet for taking such great care of my babies! You are all truly a blessing to our family ❤️ June 13 · Emily Finch
- I was worried my cat had an infection. I was trying to get in with other vets in the area and they had no available same day slots on such short notice. I called Ralston Vet and they were able to see my cat 2 hours after the phone call. The doctor and vet technician were super great with my cat and I was super happy with the services they provided today. They were super awesome and caring with my cat and I will definitely be keeping them as a regular vet and bringing my other cat here as well! They also offered an affordable care plan for this visit and future visits! August 29 · Lauren
- I’ve been on the hunt for a new vet since I’m so far from my current provider. My dogs are my children and I do a TON of research when searching for vet care. I found nothing but great reviews about Ralston Vet and I can confirm they were 100% accurate! The clinic was extremely clean with a modern design which I liked. I had an appointment at the end of the day, and I didn’t feel rushed whatsoever which was unexpected. They took their time and listened to my concerns while ensuring I felt comfortable and understood. They took great care of my new pup and i’m looking forward to bringing my other two dogs here for regular vet care! August 19 · Lizzy Werner
- So happy that you were able to get us in on such a short notice on a Saturday. Your place was very clean and welcoming. Doctor was fantastic with both us and our injured dog. Left there feeling very relieved and grateful. Would highly recommend you to everyone! July 13 · Tiffany Jershin
- This was our first visit to Ralston Vet Clinic and we really liked Dr. Burbach. We felt that we were given options about our dog’s allergy problem that we have not had at other vets. We left feeling very hopeful and encouraged.Koko says, thank you Dr. Burbach I’m feeling better already! 🐾❤️ August 01 · Melissa Stark
