Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates Introduce
When a pet requires specialized medical assessment that goes beyond a standard physical exam or general veterinary services, having access to advanced diagnostic imaging is essential for achieving a swift and accurate diagnosis. For pet owners across the greater St. Louis metropolitan area and surrounding Missouri communities, **Saint Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates (STL VRA)** serves as a vital resource, dedicated exclusively to high-level imaging and radiological services. Located in Manchester, MO, this practice focuses on providing the precise internal visibility needed for complex veterinary health care decisions.
STL VRA operates as a specialty veterinary facility, meaning they often work in partnership with a pet's primary care veterinarian to provide a deeper understanding of a health concern. Their services, which include sophisticated tools like Computed Tomography (CT) and detailed Ultrasound Examinations, are crucial for diagnosing issues that may be invisible to the naked eye, such as soft tissue abnormalities, internal masses, or complex orthopedic concerns. This specialization is a key component of the overall high standard of animal health care available in Missouri.
Client experiences consistently highlight the clinic's efficiency and compassionate communication. Pet owners frequently express surprise and gratitude over the ease and speed of the entire process, from making an appointment to receiving a clear diagnosis. For example, one owner noted the "great" appointment availability, stating they did not have to wait days or weeks for their dog's necessary ultrasound. Another client was "extremely impressed" with the rapid, "emergency appointment right away" and the professionalism of the staff, emphatically recommending the practice for its speed, caring attitude, and seamless operation. This dedication to efficiency and clarity ensures that pet owners in anxious situations receive the timely, thorough information they need to move forward with treatment.

CT scans are often used for complex issues involving the nasal cavity, inner ear, lungs, spine, and for surgical planning.
- **Diagnostic Imaging:** The overall process and technology utilized to create visual representations of the interior of a pet's body for clinical analysis.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- My experience here was very unexpected in the best way. The appointment was easy to make. Their appointment availability was great - I didn't have to wait days or weeks to get my dog in for an ultrasound. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. Everything was on time and fast! The staff and the Veterinarian who conducted the ultra sound explained things very well. Their communication was great. The vet spent time after the appointment to explain things clearly and thoroughly and nothing felt rushed or confusing. Thank you! May 08 · Monica McMahon
- Extremely efficient and caring staff; got my dog in for an emergency appointment right away. Very impressed with physical setup of the clinic and the private space for consultation with the doctor. Would emphatically recommend; also, I have to say, given a choice I would most definitely prefer to work with this practice rather than VSS. Every single element of this visit was more pleasant than at VSS: the quick return of my phone call, the rapid appointment, the general efficiency and attitude of the staff -- everything. Just a note in case someone is considering one practice over the other. I know they do different things, but seriously, there's no comparison. July 22 · Rachel Neumeier
- Brought our 11.5year old dog in for an ultrasound. I had called at 4:45pm Monday and they were able to get me in by 9:00am Tuesday. The technicians were efficient, knowledgeable, and (most importantly) kind and gentle with my pet. Every part of the process and fees were explained to me upfront. Dr. Brumitt was thorough in explaining his findings and answered all of my questions, giving me all the time I needed to ask anything. He was tactful and when I asked direct questions he was very transparent, walking me through all potential outcomes. This allowed me to best advocate for my pet. Grateful to this team! - I have brought my dog here twice. Each time we were treated with compassion and their knowledge has been instrumental in helping my pup. Lauren is phenomenal! Thank you so much! July 30 · Shawna
- The process was efficient and went well. The test results were thoroughly explained to me. The results were sent electronically to me and my veterinarian. Dr. Brumitt and Lauren did a great job. Thank you. July 25 · Tony J
