I cannot put into words how great this place is. My cat needed to see a dentist due to an ulcerated growth in her mouth that was starting to affect her quality of life. The initial consultation went very smoothly. They are fear free, which is great as my cat is known to be pretty spicy. Dr. Crocker was able to examine her and determine what needed to be done. My cat is also not the best candidate for anesthesia as she has multiple comorbidities. The first time I dropped her off for her procedure, we ended up needing to postpone the surgery because her IMHA had caused her to become too anemic to be safe under anesthesia. I really appreciated their honesty in looking out for her best interest. We rescheduled for when her IMHA was more controlled. When the surgery was finally able to happen, everything went very smoothly. Her nurse, Sarah, was amazing at keeping me in the loop with where things were at. You can tell they genuinely care for their patients.

My dachshund had chipped a tooth on a yak chew, and being the paranoid owner that I am, I brought him into Dr. Crocker’s office for an examination as he is one of the few doctors in the area who does root canal therapy as an alternative to tooth extraction. He and his assistant, Henry, were both wonderful- so welcoming, loving to my pup, and extremely knowledgeable about all things pet-dentistry. I really felt like I was in the room with the best care team possible. While my estimate was originally $6k+, Dr. Crocker called me and let me know that after further examination my pup’s tooth only needed fillings and not a full root canal therapy. He was able to do it the very same day AND while saving me $4k. His teeth look GORGEOUS- really, better than most work done on humans, and I have full trust in Dr Crocker and team to let me know honestly what needs to be done for my pets best interest. THANK YOU ALL!!

I called them to have some teeth pulled for my older kitties (8 and 12 years) and they told me it would be $192 per cat just for a consultation and that money would NOT be applied to their actual procedures.We have already seen a vet that said they need dental work. Why on earth would I pay you $400 to confirm they need dental work? And X-rays and lab work would be EXTRA. I can’t imagine what the actual surgeries would cost. And the next available appointment for this consultation is August 8th. Today is May 28th.Please be serious.

I called on February 6th to schedule a consultation for my dog and was told these appointments are only offered one Thursday per month and that the next opening is not until April 4th. I was then told that to schedule an appointment, I had to pay a $175 deposit. I thought this was steep but do know such deposits have become more common in this industry. I asked at what point this deposit is forfeited, assuming a typical cancelation policy of 24-48 hours. However; I was told IMMEDIATELY. I was floored. When I asked why this was their policy, the receptionist told me the policy was in place to "Discourage late cancelations." I understand and respect cancelation policies and as a patient based business owner myself, have a 48 hour cancelation policy in place. However; there is nothing "late" about canceling an appointment anywhere from two months to two days in advance. This is the most outrageous policy I have ever heard of and is, in my opinion, predatory. Anything can happen to my dogs tooth over a two month period, resulting in me needing to seek care sooner elsewhere. To expect that I would be OK throwing $175 away for an appointment I may cancel in advance is asinine. This policy shows a clear lack of of respect for patients needs and finances and a prioritization of provider income and ego. I would never punish a patient for canceling an appointment well in advance and seeking care elsewhere if needed.
