Silver Lake Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Can I just say how much I adore Ellie the new vet!!! She's brilliant and also down to earth! She's so personable, you feel comfortable immediately! I love they're opening on Tuesdays soon and my favorite vet tech, I don't remember her name, is also equally amazing! Our pup, Gracie actually loves going and I'm so happy with the top notch care she's receiving!
Jun 30, 2025 · Danielle PerrinoTook my cat there for 12 years. Staff was great and very curtious. The vet herself couldn't have been anymore condescending with a terrible attitude. Feel bad for the people that work with her. I'll be switching my vet.
Apr 16, 2025 · Robert AugerAfter going here since 2020 with my severely allergic dog, and after expressing my limited budget, I trusted dr laroux with her prescriptions. Well turns out, my dog could’ve been treated significantly earlier for his severe allergies in variously less expensive ways while being more effective than her suggestions. The only way I found out was that the vet wasn’t there for my appointment and I had doctor bailey. She gave me time, grace, and complete understanding. She also charged me less money, gave better solutions, and encouraged me to continue his care. Her prescriptions saved his life, while I always trusted r. Laroux, I spent well over 20k in 4 years with her. Every appointment was 350-900$ for one dog and tests that never had conclusive answers. The previous staff of vet techs have been amazing, and one to shout out was Emily! She also teller cared about how much I was I willing to do for him.Needless to say, I’m happy we’ve left this vet and I’m very happy dr Bailey and Emily were actually helpful in giving my dog a good quality of life, after 4 years of every other drug in the book.
Jan 25, 2025 · Hayden PetersonThe staff is truly among the best I’ve ever seen, an absolute joy. The vet… I don’t want to see again. I’ll go in for routine vaccinations, clearly expressing my need to stay on budget, and I’ll leave feeling shamed. In my experience, she does not work with budget and she pushes her own agenda on you. I wish she knew that trust and respect go both ways. I’m with my dog every day and my dog is happy and healthy and well-behaved. I would like to think that if I turned down preventative ear medication, after confirming that her ears are fine… that I wouldn’t get judged.
Mar 17, 2024 · Lucy WolskiAfter referring me to the emergency vet and them telling me what my dog had without doing any testing turning into telling me to put my dog down, I was looking for a second opinion. When I called The tilton veterinary hospital this morning to set up an appointment I was told the vet that they referred me to is very good and I should just take her word for it. Well, I just got out of an appointment with my old vet and it took them all of 5 minutes to do an ultrasound like I requested, and find out my dog just has a UTI, needs some antibiotics and should pull through just fine. The most definitely does not need to be put down nor does she need a $7,000 surgery that I was being pushed into getting within 48 hours! Excuse me is how between this place and the emergency vet they referred me to in Meredith not one person cared enough to want to make sure that's what was going on before pressuring me into such an expensive or life-ending procedure. Mind you this is after I just lost my fiance adopted my stepdaughter then lost my grandfather and my son..... My experiences with these people were very cold and callous with an utter lack of compassion which is pretty sad for the profession they all chose to be in! All it took was 1 vet to offer us maybe 20 minutes out of her day to get the real answers and prevent me from possibly killing my dog or spending $7,000 for an unnecessary procedure when she never had pyometra in the first place! What worries me though is how many other people were put into this position and chose to actually listen to them? I really do hope people haven't been putting down their pets after meeting someone for literally 2 minutes and listening to their opinion with absolutely no proof! And the way they stick up for each other seems like a real slimeball racket if you ask me! I'm just glad there are real people in the profession in this area that actually do their jobs and even if they don't have the answers you're looking for, they at least treat you with respect when telling you unlike this place here and they're a little sidekicks in Meredith smh I will be putting some things together to bring much awareness to this situation and hopefully this has not happened to anybody else and hopefully they didn't listen to them and make an irreversible decision or spend thousands for nothing! Some of y'all really need to do better or find a different career
