Blackwater Veterinary Services is conveniently located at **131 Old Turnpike Rd, Salisbury, NH 03268, USA**. Situated in Salisbury, this central location allows the clinic to serve a broad area of central New Hampshire, making it an accessible option for pet and livestock owners from various surrounding towns. For New Hampshire residents, ease of access to veterinary care is crucial, especially considering the varied landscapes and distances within our state.
The facility itself was purpose-built in 2006, after operating out of Dr. Sula’s home for four years, indicating a thoughtful design to accommodate a range of animals. It includes three exam rooms specifically for small animal patients, as well as a dedicated barn area on the premises for large animal care. This unique setup means that whether you have a small companion animal or a large farm animal, they can often receive care directly at the hospital. Furthermore, Blackwater Veterinary Services maintains **two fully equipped vehicles** to provide appropriate care for animals directly at their homes and farms, significantly enhancing accessibility for those with large animals or pets who do not travel well. This blend of in-clinic facilities and mobile services ensures comprehensive and convenient care for the New Hampshire community. The clinic also boasts a wheelchair-accessible entrance, toilet, and parking, further improving accessibility for all clients.
Blackwater Veterinary Services is a **mixed animal veterinary hospital**, meaning they provide comprehensive general medical and surgical services for a wide variety of animals, including **horses, companion animals (dogs and cats), and livestock**. - Radiology (Digital X-ray): Equipped with digital X-ray technology for both large and small animal patients, allowing for accurate and detailed imaging at the office or in the field (for large animals).

Blackwater Veterinary Services Reviews
My first experience was going with my mother in law to bring her dog for his last rest. The staff was absolutely amazing! We now bring our Enzo there for all her needs. I truly cannot talk highly enough about the staff and facility. They speak to you in terms you understand while also proving the more technical terms. They're so amazing with my 3 year old puppy that she even likes going there and is excited to see them.

Jul 13, 2022 · Nancy YannuzziWe have used Blackwater for many years, starting with our horses, and then our dogs and cats. The staff are very good and helpful with appointments and working with you. The Drs. are very helpful and do all they can for your pet. They are very compassionate and will give you an honest opinion of when it is time to part with your pet.
Dec 04, 2023 · David WallaceWe were referred to Blackwater years ago. We had a German Shepard who had “vet” issues. These people were amazing with him for years. We just had to put our dog down a month ago and the whole team at Blackwater was amazing throughout the whole process. I can’t thank them enough for the support throughout his final few months. NOW we just adopted a 4 year old calico kitty and our first appointment with Blackwater is in a couple weeks! Wouldn’t think about taking my new pet anywhere else! Thank you Blackwater Team!
