★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everyone is loving & caring. They take the time to answer questions. They reassure you about treatments, concerns & treat your pets with the best care. I have two dogs & I am on a set income. So good vet care is expensive. Both my dogs are rescue dogs. The Matteson Southsuburban Society have been there when I needed to Spay my Hazy. They were the most reasonable place with great service.
May 26 · jeannie hughesStaff detailed and knowledgeable about fur family patient care. The office was busy but staff professionalism in care felt like we were the only family that mattered. They gave detailed care and explained all needs for my fur baby. I thought it would be an all day wait and experience but the office and medical attention flowed smooth. great team great experience. Thank you all. Continued success in service & care!
August 14 · Carla RodriguezI've always been in awe of the level of treatment that I've received over the years, SS genuinely cares about THE BABIES (animals) & everyone is VERY WELL versed in their duties. I have 2 dogs(Dena & Donnetello) , 6 cats (soon to be 7), I Foster for SSHS & I'm grateful for EVERYTHING SS has done for my babies! When calling there have been times no one answered right away, but I'm not the only Pet Mom they're helping, I'm not self centered & I understand. I'll just call back a few minutes later, my call is answered & the wonderful ladies at the front desk assistant me happily.People need to take in consideration that people helping you aren't machines, you may be a little irritable because your fur baby is sick & want quick results.Learn to be respectful, I'm very sure that'll be returned to you easily because I've never once had an issue & highly recommend SOUTH SUBURBAN for Vet services!!!!
January 13 · VeeSAVED MY CATS LIFE!!!!When I tell you this by far was the best experience I’ve had at a vet. My cat had a urinary blockage and I went to another vet that told me he pretty much needed a procedure done or he would die within the next day or two. They said $1,200 that I didn’t even have and I didn’t know what to do so they suggested I put my cat down I could not do that. I arrived to south suburban animal hospital with my cat 30 minutes before closing as a walk-in and I just sat there crying a women from the front desk approached me and asked me if I had a appointment I said no and she asked what was wrong. I told her everything and next thing you know they told me they could save my cat and the price was way cheap than the other vet. My cat went home with a catether and he is doing way much better from when I brought him in. I mean the team was amazing from the front desk down to the doctors. I am forever grateful for this place. Very genuine and caring people. They listen to your concerns and try to help the best they can. VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES!!!!
April 10 · Key WilliamsWe had to say goodbye to our best girl, and SSLCC was very helpful, compassionate, and understanding. We arrived closer to closing time, but they were able to assist in making our girl comfortable and helping us and her with her transition. Our young kids were with us; the tech and doctor explained to them a few times what would happen. They gave us all the time we needed, too, despite it being time for them to go home. We never felt rushed. Junebug was given the royal treatment, and we could see she was ready. We really appreciate them not only taking us so close to closing time given Junebug's state but for allowing us to process this time at our pace. It is very difficult to say goodbye, but it helps when the people involved in the process are compassionate and empathetic. June was seen here when we adopted her as a rescue, too. The care she received was always exceptional. We're fortunate to have a caring, cost efficient vet in Cook County.
