South Suburban Spay and Neuter Clinic is particularly worth choosing for Illinois residents who prioritize affordability and a straightforward approach to pet health. The most compelling reason is their low-cost spay and neuter services, which are confirmed by customer reviews to be a fraction of the price of other clinics. The clinic’s commitment to providing a "free" microchip with the procedure adds even more value, helping to ensure the safety of the pets they treat. Beyond the core surgeries, the availability of other routine care like vaccinations and dental cleanings at competitive prices makes the clinic a one-stop-shop for preventative needs. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They have prices that are better than your local animal hospital or vet but their communication is not exact. They don’t take phone calls. They text and email. If you are late by 10 minutes they will charge you. Even if the clinic is still open they charge you. It’s about $185 for a cat spayed. Yes they microchip and such but I didn’t need the “free” microchip. Staff are friendly.I would try and find a clinic for the same price closer to home. They don’t tell the price until you check out.
March 21 · May HuizingaI had my two cats (6 years and 1.5 years) neutered here about two months ago. The cost for the surgery was 4x higher per cat at our regular vet so I was happy to find this place. Check in and out was super easy and everyone was professional and had a good attitude. Both cats recovered amazingly and I am shocked how much the older cat's behavior has improved. Since day of surgery, neither has sprayed which was a huuuuge problem. They are no longer territorial, the yowling at night has stopped, and the older one isn't trying to mount the younger one. If anyone is experiencing these issues with male cats I highly suggest getting them neutered here. My cats are so much happier now and so are we!!
July 04 · Michelle FergusonI took my 3 “foster fails” Billy, Max and Winnie for their spay/neuter surgeries on March 11. The staff was awesome! Drop off and pick up was a breeze! Thanks to the staff for taking such great care of the fur babies! Thanks for all that you do!
March 15 · Christine HarrisonVery friendly staff. Love the prices. They make it super affordable to take care of your pets.
July 17 · KaceyDrove over an hour and a half for this place, totally worth it.Local vets quoting me $400-$700 for neuters because of his weight (60lbs). Got my dog neutered, medication, and microchipped for $175 total. Super quick 7am-12:30. Friendly helpful staff. Made sure to donate items off the donation list to let them keep doing what they’re doing because it sure helped me save literally hundreds of dollars. my dog was drowsy but normal after the surgery with tail wags and all.Only weird thing is my dog does stink of urine, and I can’t bathe him for two weeks which is kind of a bummer lol.
