★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Wonderful vet and staff. Our jack Russel/Chihuahua ate a ibuprofen pill and became sick and we rushed our Wally to southwick veterinary hospital. They spent 2 days treating him to return our fur baby back to health. We were very worried and they calmed our fears, and were very patient with us. They are knowledgeable and we were very satisfied with our outcome. Thank you southwick! August 05 · Patricia
- This is Monty's story. He is a 8 1/2 year old English Bulldog and he comes from a long line of champions and he has always been a very healthy dog. He loves all people, especially the littles, walks, playing soccer and running with the other doggos at the park. His fears are storms and fireworks. Fast forward to 3 years ago. His loves would lead him to getting overexcited, struggling to catch his breath and vomiting. His fears would lead to trembling, panting for hours and struggling to breathe. This is because Monty suffers from BOAS. His soft palate was exceptionally elongated and his nostrils were very narrow. He also had entropion on the lower eyelids. Enter Dr. Mina at Southwick Veterinary Hospital. We decided to go ahead with the soft palate, stenotic nares and entropion surgeries and now his quality of life has greatly improved. He can now now enjoy everything he loves without the fear of loss of breath and possibly loss of life. And now he out paces me on our walks. Dr. Mina is a highly skilled and educated surgeon and I can't thank her enough for what she did for Monty. I wish I could post his picture but believe me he looks and sounds fantastic! - I have brought my cat to two different doctors at this practice, as well as their other location in Des Peres. All the staff are so kind and always make sure I am comfortable with treatment options and pricing before proceeding. It has been a hard year for my cat as he approaches the end of his life and I'm so grateful to have the support of such caring people.Update: we recently started taking our dog to Southwick and as usual, have received nothing but the best from everyone. The vet who treated her was very thorough and everyone took their time to ensure my dog was comfortable and calm. I also love that the staff know us by name. I can't recommend Southwick Veterinary Hospital enough! April 08 · Melanie Cole
- The vet was amazing! Had to look everywhere for a place that would take Guinea Pigs. They got us right in and we're very nice. Dr. Mina and Anna were wonderful and very informative with the care for my little piggie Cici! Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family! ❤ June 08 · TheWanderingKokioFlower
- We are really happy that they have happy visits for anxious and reactive dogs like our Patronus! The front desk person Skye and vet technician Yuliia was really kind and friendly and made Patronus feel really comfortable in no time, by offering treats and pup cup. We plan on taking him a couple more times before his actual appointment. Dr Alicia is awesome, she was really patient with him as he was a bit nervous to get his check up and blood drawn. She slowed it down for him, made him come to her and was overall, excellent for the post visit summary and clarifications. March 05 · Yash Shah
