- Annual Wellness Exams
Scheduling regular wellness exams is the first step to long-term health for your dog or cat. We provide snout-to-tail exams that help with the prevention, detection, & early treatment of diseases. These visits are also a perfect time for updating vaccinations or getting expert advice on petcare.
- Vaccinations
Vaccinations protect your pet from common diseases that can come from (1) other animals, (2) animal waste, (3) stagnant bodies of water, or (4) vector insects. All dogs & cats need updated vaccines to be protected from fatal diseases, lifelong diseases, & zoonotic diseases, which can infect people.
- Parasite Prevention
Help your pet stay healthy and parasite-free. We offer parasite screening and parasite prevention treatments for your furry friend. We recommend that pet parents start parasite prevention early, and continue monthly preventives throughout their pet’s adult life.
- Deworming
Dog and cat intestinal parasites can come from contaminated soil, breastmilk, or an infected animal’s waste. Some pets may not exhibit symptoms until the infestation has progressed. At Sploot, we treat a wide range of parasitic infections, such as heartworm, roundworm, & tapeworm infestations.
- Ticks and Fleas
Ticks & fleas are known to cause excessive scratching in dogs and cats. Skin parasites can also be vectors of internal diseases (e.g. Lyme disease, tapeworm). A visit to Sploot is a great opportunity to screen and treat these parasites, as well as the diseases they carry.
- Pet Dental Care
We offer routine dental care (i.e. annual dental exams and teeth cleaning) for dogs and cats. We also treat cases like tooth decay, tooth fractures, oral infections, and gum disease. Depending on your pet’s need, we can provide treatment in-house or stabilize your furry friend for specialist care.
- Pet Dental Exam
Whether for routine or diagnostic purposes, we offer a thorough dental exam experience that is stress-free for both pets and pet parents. Routine dental exams are recommended for all pets, at least once a year. Dental exams are also performed on pets that have outward signs of dental issues.
- Teeth Cleaning for Dogs & Cats
Routine teeth cleaning is recommended for all cats and dogs, at least once a year. For cats, this starts after they are 1 year old, and for dogs, when they are 2 years of age. Teeth cleaning prevents the buildup of acidic plaque which contributes to tooth decay or life-threatening gum infections.

Just like humans, dogs & cats can have allergies to food (chicken, fish, beef), air-borne particles (pollen, dust, mold), & even fleas. Allergies in pets can manifest as itchy skin, hives, diarrhea, sneezing, & so on. At Sploot, we help pet parents determine & manage their pet’s allergies.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited the clinic because my dog Stella was ill, and from the very beginning, the care was impeccable. Although I was delayed, the reception staff was extremely kind and helpful, assisting me in rescheduling the appointment without any issues, demonstrating professional and attentive service.During the consultation, the doctor’s assistant was very helpful and took the time to clarify all my doubts. Additionally, since I speak Spanish, José P. provided excellent translation services between English and Spanish, which was essential for clear and effective communication.Dr. Jamie showed a high level of professionalism and dedication in caring for Stella. They also provided me with a detailed report explaining the reason for the visit something I had never received at any other clinic before, and that I greatly appreciate as part of the veterinary care process. In summary, both my dog and I received exceptional treatment. I am very grateful to the entire team for their commitment and quality of service.
June 19 · Yordi SolanoWe just got a new puppy and needed to get her checked out sooner than later. I was thrilled with the availability at Sploot. Everyone from the initial phone call with my inquiries to the person checking us out at the end were fantastic. EVERYONE was super friendly and kind. We got in right away. I found out they also have lots of locations, which is great. Everyone was very helpful in answering any questions we had. I got a text the next day from them to check on us and see how our pup is doing. Stellar care from top to bottom and from beginning to end. Oh and the facility is very nice and clean. I highly recommend them!
May 29 · Little Big MomI was impressed that they were able to get me in right away and not charge me an additional fee for a rushed appointment. The staff was wonderful and the actual vet was so sweet and understanding. I had a traumatic experience with my past vet who I trusted and because I trusted her my dog ended up passing away. The veterinary here was so compassionate about my situation and made me feel heard. She provided excellent care not only to my new puppy but also to me. Thank you guys for taking great care of Honey and me.
March 25 · Kelli PayneWe are from out of town. I was able to get am appointment for our dog within 4 hours of calling. The staf were all friendly and very caring with my sick dog. The appointment was on time. Both the tech and vet spent a good amount of time getting all pertinent info and worked with me to set up a plan for each of the steps to get support for my dog. All treatments and tests were done quickly and I received results quickly. I have the option to call or text them if my dog feels worse or shows no improvement. It was an excellent appointment and I felt very supported by everyone in the office.
July 02 · Kris NeustadterI took my 13-month-old cat here yesterday after she was exhibiting some concerning symptoms for days. Dr. Wenke and the team at Sploot were incredibly compassionate and thorough in assessing her condition! They took the time to explain possible causes, provided excellent care, and ultimately referred us to Veterinary Emergency Group on Colfax to run some more comprehensive tests. They were also fantastic! Highly recommend Sploot for anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care!
