Stadium Veterinary Services Introduce
For residents of Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities, finding a veterinary practice that combines medical expertise with a truly compassionate approach is paramount. Stadium Veterinary Services, located right here in the heart of Ann Arbor, has built a reputation for doing just that. As a full-service animal hospital, they are dedicated to providing a wide range of medical, surgical, and preventative care services to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved pets. From a puppy’s first wellness visit to the complex needs of a senior companion, the team at Stadium Veterinary Services is committed to being a reliable partner in your pet’s lifelong health journey.
The hospital’s philosophy is centered on the belief that pets are valued family members. This guiding principle is reflected in every interaction, from the front desk staff to the veterinary doctors. As one long-time client noted, the team is known for treating pets "with so much love and care." This compassionate approach is not just a slogan; it's a core part of their service model. They understand that a trip to the vet can be stressful for both the pet and the owner, and they strive to create a calm and comfortable environment. This is particularly important for cats, and the clinic's certification as "Cat Friendly" by the American Association of Feline Practitioners demonstrates a commitment to improving the health and welfare of cats specifically.
Stadium Veterinary Services has a history in the community, having previously operated under the name "Affordable Vet," and while the name has changed, the commitment to providing quality care has remained. They have earned the trust of many long-term clients, with some families having used their services for over 15 years. This speaks volumes about the consistent quality of their care and the strong relationships they build. While some reviews mention challenges with scheduling and communication, the overwhelmingly positive feedback about the veterinarians and vet techs highlights the deep expertise and genuine care provided to the animals themselves. The team's passion for their work and their willingness to go above and beyond, even offering to provide professional insights to clients, showcases a rare and valuable dedication to the entire pet health industry.
Stadium Veterinary Services is located at 2117 W Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. This location is convenient for pet owners residing in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas, including Ypsilanti, Saline, Dexter, and Milan. Situated on a major thoroughfare, the hospital is easy to find and provides straightforward access for clients. Accessibility is a priority, with a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and wheelchair-accessible seating, making the clinic a welcoming place for all members of the community.
The hospital operates on an appointments-required or appointments-recommended basis. This structured planning helps to ensure that each pet receives the dedicated time and attention it needs. While it may mean a longer wait for non-emergency situations, it allows the team to provide a more thorough and personalized visit, rather than rushing through appointments. The clinic's central location in Ann Arbor is a major benefit, as it serves as a central hub for veterinary care in the area. The ease of getting to the facility, combined with the professional and organized approach to scheduling, helps to make the veterinary experience as smooth as possible for busy Michigan residents.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stadium Veterinary Services has been our vet since before the name change from Affordable Vet over ten years ago, but we're taking our business elsewhere. The person who answered the phone today lacked compassion and understanding. They talked over me and apparently thought it was reasonable to offer an appointment for my sick dog in 9 days. I think it's fair to expect to see your pet's doctor in sickness and in health. I don't have any complaints about the veterinarians, but the customer service and business model are unacceptable.
May 20 · Kathy StockingWe love this place! They have the best and most compassionate team at Stadium Vet.Over the years, we’ve had four dogs that have been treated with so much love and care. Everyone here is amazing. The vet techs are incredible as well. Our dogs usually see Dr. Maddy or Dr. Paul (who’s no longer there) but we also had an amazing experience with Dr. Alison, who kindly offered to chat with me and help.I wanted to mention that I recently moved away to pursue an MBA (but my dogs are still in Ann Arbor 😊) and wanted to gain some insights in the pet health industry. Dr. Alison was so kind and patient with my questions and offered the most helpful answers. We will always be grateful for this team! Thank you so much for your service for 15+ years!
October 05 · Tina LeeLove this vet! Caring folks, and excellent care for regular yearly checkups plus random cat issues. We've been going here for years, and will continue to do so.
March 17 · Jenny HThe entire staff here is wonderful. Dr. Marissa has been amazing with our dog and her allergy issues, we've also seen Dr. Alison Vancouver and Dr. Maddy Erba and they are both great as well. All the vet techs are kind and helpful. Very affordable, cannot recommend more.
November 05 · Claire WaglerI have been going here for years since it was named Affordable Vet. I took a break and went to some other vets and came back. The main thing I value about this place is that they don’t try to sell me up on added services that aren’t necessary and they don’t overreact and order every expensive test and medication they can. Vets these days are feeling like the dentist. I don’t need Invisalign and my dog doesn’t need to be part of some doggy health club or something.
