★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just want to thank all the amazing staff at Steamboat, but especially Dr Ripka for his compassionate and thorough care of my sweet tripod kitty Oscar. We brought him in quite a few times this year since Oscar developed hyperthyroidism, and every time, Dr Ripka took the time to make him comfortable, explain what was going on and options for us, and just generally was so kind. Oscar quickly declined and passed away peacefully at home this week which was devastating. However, we really appreciated how not only was Steamboat willing to see him on very short notice, but we knew that going into the office wouldn’t be an additional traumatic event since Oscar was never scared or stressed there.Thank you all so much, we will keep bringing in our other kitties and pups for many years to come :)
August 14 · Kandace NWe had to take our puppy Roxy to have her put down. She was almost 11 years old and had stage 4 kidney failure. Dr Petra Van Moorsel was amazing. She made every painful step as painless as possible. We e been with Steamboat for many years and have taken many pets there. It's a great place with great people working there. I highly recommend it 🥰
August 09 · Patrick WheelerI cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care my beloved dog, Lily, receives at Steamboat Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The receptionists are all incredibly friendly and make us feel at ease right away.Dr. van Moorsel and her team are nothing short of amazing. They take the time to thoroughly examine Lily and explain every step of the treatment process. Dr. van Morrsel's compassion and expertise are evident, and I feel completely confident in her care. Lily is always treated with the utmost gentleness, and the vet techs are patient and kind, making sure she is comfortable throughout the entire visits. The clinic itself is spotless and well-organized, creating a calming environment for both pets and their owners. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness does not go unnoticed.I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care Lily receives at Steamboat. Dr. van Moorsel and her team go above and beyond to provide top-notch care, and I highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners. Thank you, Steamboat, for your dedication and compassion!Suzette Djerf
March 14 · Lily DjerfI highly doubt you will find a more caring animal hospital than Steamboat AH. The photo is of my cat Zack. Zack is semi feral and has a short fuse. Zack has arthritis and gets monthly Solencia injections so that he is able to attack me daily without causing any pain to himself 😂😂Zack is a regular at Steamboat for everything from abscesses, nail trims, Solencia injections and teeth cleaning.I imagine they would love for me to find him another vet because Zack is not the easiest patient but, they are stuck with us because we love them ❤️❤️❤️❤️
August 19 · TAGI've had many animals and veterinarians in my lifetime. We were told by our previous vet it was time to put our dog down because of kidney disease. A friend recommended we try Steamboat Veterinary first. Dr Ripka was wonderful and encouraged us to try a few different things first. A year and a half later our 15 year old dog is doing well. The best vet we've ever had!!!!
