Steven J. Olson, DVM Reviews
East Lake Animal Clinic is a good fit for the Longfellow neighborhood. It doesn’t have all the fancy bells and whistles of many other vet clinics, but it doesn’t have exhorbitent fees and the vets are honest about the costs and benefits of any diagnostic tests your pet may (or may not) need. The staff and veterinarians are competent, caring, and have all the necessary tools and equipment to provide complete care for a pet. I’m grateful to have them so close to home.
Aug 25, 2018 · Melinda HarrisDr. Olson is one of the least caring vets you could ever go to. He's unethical and extremely rude to the point of being abusive. He yelled at me, talked over me, insilted me and hung up the phone on ne when I expressed a concern about practices at his clinic. My pet is 15 years old and probably doesn't have much longer. Who treats a pet patient family like this at end of life stage? He's very unprofessional and lacks any semblance if compassion. How about do no harm? He did say one true thing though, he said " I have been practicing too long, you can't threaten me." The first part seems correct. This guy needs to head out to pasture. I was not threatening him by the way, but he's obviously used to arguing with patients. He has no business in a practice that involves human emotions. What a total loser.
