★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Two weeks ago (Tuesday) our lil Basset Hound (Gus) was throwing up & would not stop. I take him to an emergency vet, they took x-rays and found he had ate a corn cob, had a blockage & needed emergency surgery. Afterwards, he needed to go to a 24 hour vet hospital. We called 10-15 places and nobody did that except Stone Creek (Forney), or would have to take him to Dallas. Dr Brewer & his staff never saw our boy before. At 7p.m they agreed to take him. We were told by both vets that most dogs don’t make it after having their intestines cut & put back together. We were also leaving for a family vacation on Thursday. When we got him to Stone Creek we had to say our goodbye’s to Gus, it was extremely hard. Dr Brewer told us Gus would need to be there for at least a week. Dr Brewer & his staff called us a couple times a day giving us updates. They also texted pictures to us so we could see our fur baby. We could not be happier with a more dedicated, caring, and loving Doctor & staff! If you need an awesome vet for your fur babies you will love Stone Creek. Thank you Dr Brewer and staff for taking care of, & loving our Gus!
July 23 · Leona ShinertI love Dr. Brewer and Staff. They are very professional, they remember your name and your babies. My fur babies are never scared to go with the crew which says a lot about how they are treated. I’m so grateful to have found them. Oh and the are very compassionate and will work with you. I won’t go anywhere else unless they refer me.
July 23 · Shelonda PriceI had a pug named Buddy and supposedly when he got admitted into the vet his health started to “deteriorate”. They did not give supportive care to my dog. At first when he came in he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and then two days later he had diabetes which caused him to have low blood sugar. The next hour we get a call and he got seizures from the vet willingly and admitting that he gave an insulin shot.( which he did not need ) He passed away a couple days later. Do not come here at all .
June 27 · Andrew lallWe can’t begin to say how thankful we are to stone creek and Dr Brewer. They were so helpful, understanding, and caring in a time we needed it most. I can’t recommend themMore. They have helped with our “exotic pets” in the past (snake) and are currently treating one of our cats. They staff is professional and the drop off/pickup process is seamless . Thank you Stone Creek Vet!
March 11 · Regan TWill not bring another pet back. I don’t trust or understand the curbside service. I don’t know what Dr. Brewer is looking at or how comprehensive their physical exams are. I dont like the cold vibes both times that I went or being talked to in what I felt was a standoffish way. I dont like playing telephone with the nurses coming back and forth from my car to the doctor to relay information. Long story short, dog examined on May 20, second look on May 23, emergency room on May 28 with a level 6 heart murmur and distended liver which was not noticed.I took my dog in on May 20th with concerns about dog being in chronic pain due to a disk disease and not eating. Also for a cyst on his back. I took time off of work which is an hour away around rush hour time. When I got home the cyst was bleeding but had to make it to the appointment so I attempted to clean it in the car with a damp cloth while I waited for staff. First issue was them returning him to me still bleeding and not clean. Did I need to specifically request them to clean it? Bandage? I figured it would be standard? Was given antibiotics, steroids, muscle relaxers. I called back on the 23rd because it fully burst, pus and keratin, and i wanted to know how to clean and treat it. Also still not eating and no longer holding in urine/warning me. I was told the Dr wanted me to come in again to look at it. When I arrived the staff was acting confused as to what I wanted Dr to look at or do for the cyst. I reiterated my phone call and said that theyre the ones that told me to come in. Ended up telling me to clean with a damp cloth and neosporin while I considered having it removed. Told to reduce frequency of steroid and stop antibiotic. Call back if still not eating and they would do blood work. I ended up having to take him to emergency room on the 28th and he was critical. Level 6 heart murmur and distended liver. How was this not noticed in his physical exam? First time bringing him to stone creek. Did that really appear within 5 to 8 days? I dont know.
