★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely love Dr Verner. He's amazing and has so much compassion. The front desk girls and the Techs are also fabulous. It scares me when I go to FL to take care of my parents and have to see a different vet. Dr Verner knows exactly what's wrong with my little girl and how to treat her so I can have a little more time with her. She's in end stages of heart failure plus severe collapsed trachea. We thought we were gonna have to put her down but he tried her on a cpl meds and they helped her so much. Thank you to Dr Verner and all his staff.
February 03 · Lynn MazeDo not take your pet Ferrets here. They don’t know what they are doing or talking about with Ferrets at all. I went here multiple times and each time I leave just shaking my head. They tried to tell me they don’t usually treat Adrenal disease in Ferrets which is a super common illness and it easily treated with a Deslorelin Implant and they looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked them about it and had no idea what I was talking about and said they don’t do that there. I had another sick ferret once and went to get her checked out the the doctor had no idea what he was doing and then told me the only place that could treat my animal was to take them to the university of Ga in Athens to experiment on her. Like what!? Aka they don’t know how to treat ferrets. I called my other vet and they immediately got me booked for this simple procedure. Ferret owners beware of this place.
July 23 · Maria AndradeBeen going to Dr Verner for years, but he done a procedure on my baby early this week! Everyone was soo thorough & soo sweet through it all!! Love this Dr & all of the staff!! 💕🐾💙🐾
October 04 · Michelle DavidsonI don't doubt Dr Verner's affection for animals or his good intentions, but I'm very sad about the treatment my dear dog received. Despite being a patient for 3 or 4 years, I was never told he had an enlarged heart until it was too late. At age 16 I suggested teeth cleaning to prevent heart issues and asked for antibiotics during op since he had pus in gums, which apparently were not given. He probably should not have had procedure, since his health declined dramatically after. When I asked for copy of his labs they resisted, then finally sent me a report from 6 mos prior. Vet told me he had informed me of condition when he had not. I believe my dog could have suffered less and lived longer if he had been given heart meds at appropriate time. Vet always made small talk about other animals rather than serious talk about my dog's condition. This practice has lots of staff and overhead, but did not take good care of my dog.
July 09 · Laura M.Dr. Justin Verner and his Staff were welcoming, friendly, and very comforting to my husband and I when we came in as an emergency for our pet Rat Mochi. We found him that afternoon with a huge gash on his left side so we rushed right over. They took him in right away as I was in the brink of tears worried for my brave little friend. We didn’t have to wait long for them to bring him back to us and explain how to care for him within the next few weeks. Both the visit and antibiotics were fairly affordable too. Now a month later Mochi is completely healed up and he is himself again. Thank you Dr. Verner and your amazing Staff for being so compassionate with us and our Mochi. We will definitely recommend and continue to visit for anything our Rattie babies might need.
