Synergy Integrative Specialty Veterinary Clinic Introduce
For pet owners in North Carolina, the journey to find the best possible care for their animal companions can sometimes lead to exploring options beyond conventional medicine. In New Bern, a true gem for holistic and specialized pet care exists: Synergy Integrative Specialty Veterinary Clinic. This clinic stands out by offering a unique and forward-thinking approach to veterinary medicine, blending traditional practices with complementary and alternative therapies. As local reviews attest, this integrative method has been a "game-changer" for many pets, particularly for senior dogs and those with chronic conditions who may not have found relief through conventional treatments alone.
The name "Synergy" perfectly captures the clinic's core philosophy—the idea that the combination of different therapies can produce a greater, more effective outcome than a single treatment alone. Led by the highly-acclaimed Dr. Joyce Gerardi, the team at Synergy is dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate the best of both worlds. This collaborative approach means they work hand-in-hand with your primary care veterinarian to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive strategy for your pet's health. For those in North Carolina seeking alternatives for pain management, chronic disease, or simply a way to enhance their pet's quality of life, Synergy offers a promising path.
The clinic's mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care that focuses on the overall well-being of the animal, not just the treatment of a specific disease. This is particularly evident in their use of modalities like acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), which are designed to restore balance and harmony in the body. Reviews from grateful pet owners, such as the one about Davy the German Shepherd, highlight how these non-traditional methods have helped their aging pets "age gracefully" and find a "pep in his step." It's a testament to the belief that there are many ways to support an animal's health and happiness.
The team at Synergy recognizes that every pet is an individual, and their needs are just as unique. The initial consultation is a deep dive into your pet’s history, diet, and lifestyle to develop a plan that is truly tailored to them. This level of personalized care is what fosters trust and loyalty among the North Carolina pet-owning community. Whether you're considering a new treatment option for a long-standing issue or simply want to explore preventative strategies that go beyond the norm, Synergy Integrative Specialty Veterinary Clinic provides a professional and knowledgeable environment to do so.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Synergy Intergrative Veterinary Clinic is a gem for pet owners seeking non-traditional appoaches to pet care. Their holistic approach of acupuncuture, thermal imaging, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been a game-changer for my senior German Shepherd, Davy. Under Dr. Girardi's expert care, Davy is aging gracefully, and I couldn't be more grateful. I expect to see a pep in his step for years to come. Highly recommend.
February 24 · Jeanne CrockettDr Gerardi, and her team are amazing! She has helped me with all three of my dogs. She has been able to show me the options for care that other vets have not. This resulted in a longer and more fulfilling life for my dogs! I highly recommend you set up a consultation just to learn about what she does and how it could help your pet! This is Farley getting acupuncture!
March 10 · A Dog's DreamMy 11 year Shipoo Rocky has been going to Dr. Gerardi for over two years. Rocky suffered from storm phobia, separation anxiety, aggression, and poor appetite. We had dealt with this at home for years.Dr. Gerardi started Rocky on a crockpot diet, vitamin and mineral supplements to help with nutrition and other herbals for anxiety. Rocky receives acupuncture and vitamin B12 shots there as well. He now is better able to deal with storms and separation anxiety. He loves the crockpot food recipe that Dr. Gerardi gave us. We are able to take him to Union Point Park for concerts and baseball games at Grainger Stadium in Kinston. We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Gerardi and Alice for all of the hard work and patience in helping our Rocky. The pictures attached are from the office session on March 31st. He has acupuncture needles in him. He is also receiving a massage from me.
April 01 · Brenda WilliamsWonderful place. Very grateful it's here. Our dog came to us an unknown history of severe hip trauma. Without synergy I am not sure she would be my 70# lap dog. Not crazy expensive. Less than you think. Priceless
June 16 · Jill GriffinDr. Joyce Gerardi is an incredible veterinarian. Her practice offers an integrated approach for healing that is hopefully the wave of the future. You and your beloved pets will not be disappointed!!!
