It is important to acknowledge that while many aspects of The Grove City Veterinary Hospital are commendable, some client experiences indicate areas for improvement, particularly regarding customer service and policy flexibility. For instance, one long-term client expressed significant frustration with policy enforcement regarding a "vaccines for life" program, where a missed reminder call led to program deactivation despite a history of loyalty and significant spending. This experience included perceived "policy garbage," "exorbitant cost," and feeling that the clinic was "profit-focused," leading to a decision to seek care elsewhere and a strong recommendation for others to "steer clear and find a kinder office." This feedback suggests that while the direct care for animals can be excellent, issues with administrative policies and client communication can significantly impact overall satisfaction.

THE Grove City Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Update: let’s just add to this by saying, the manager left me a voicemail AND an email to make absolutely sure I knew: they are right and I am wrong. Like come on now. 😑I have been taking my senior dog here for years. We purchased the “vaccines for life” program years ago and diligently bring her in annually for her shots and a checkup. We even pay the exorbitant cost for senior bloodwork and paid these folks $2k for dental work.Well, basically a long story short, they deactivated us in their system without us telling them to, and we didn’t receive a reminder call for her annual checkup. I called about a week after their 30 day leeway period to set up her appointment, and I was informed her vaccines for life program was no longer good because we didn’t get her an appointment in time.Yes, policy garbage. But as a loyal customer (because at their prices, that’s what it is), there should be some grace here for life happening and the fact that they neglected to send us their reminder. I instructed the lady to cancel my appointment and that I would be taking my business elsewhere, and I hung up. She called me BACK, just to argue with me about why they were justified. Like why??They have always been way overpriced, but I continued to come here for continuity of care and the program for vaccines. I will no longer be giving them my business and will no longer be recommending them to friends. There are plenty of other vets who care about patients that I don’t have to argue with or feel like they are profit-focused.The good news is that I don’t need them! There are plenty of other wonderful vets to care for my girl. But I absolutely would suggest you also steer clear and find a kinder office. ❤️
Feb 07, 2025 · Haleigh AndrickWe moved to the country and had to find a new Vet. Both times I’ve been here we’ve received excellent care and service. Cassie went above and beyond yesterday to help me trim my very large, very anxious dog’s nails. It’s clear to me that they’re animal lovers here. I love the way everyone interacts with my dog.
