★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had the best experience ever with Thrive Pet Healthcare. I've been visiting doctors for my dogs for the last 10 years and I've never received the information and care that I've received from Dr. Mendscole and his staff. One of my dogs, Gen, has suffered from allergies and ear infections all of her life, with no resolve. When I first walked in Thrive Pet Healthcare, Gen, was hesitant to go in; but, by the time I left she acted like she didn't want to leave. The receptionist, Ms Bri, was very kind, courteous and friendly.Next, I encountered Ms Mariah, Dr Mencole assistant. I initially thought that she was the doctor from the way she gathered information about Gen to get started with resolving her problems. After Ms Mariah had taken Gen to the back, Dr. Mendscole came back to speak with us. Dr. Mendscole who was very, very thorough in examining Genesis issues. He gave us more information than any doctor has ever given us in the 10 years we have been taking her to the vets. Dr. Mendscole even called us on his day off to inform us of more prescriptions that can help Gen even more.I am so impressed with this doctor and his staff. Even without all the prescriptions being administered yet, I can see improvements in Gen's condition.I have already told other dog owners about my experience at this location at Thrive because of the excellent impression they left on my son and I and even Genesis, my dog.I recommend Dr. Mendscole and his staff, Mariah and Bri to everyone who has a dog and need healthcare.I believe it will be an experience they will never forget and want to make this Healthcare facility their dog's permanent place for healthcare needs. So happy I found them.
May 11 · Twrnia HardyThe team at Thrive has been absolutely incredible! From the front desk to the exam room, everyone truly goes above and beyond.Dr. Mendscole is an exceptional vet—knowledgeable, patient, and deeply compassionate. When my cat was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago, he took the time to walk me through everything, answered all my questions, and helped create a treatment plan that has truly made a difference. His dedication to his patients is unmatched, and it shows in every interaction. I feel incredibly lucky to have him caring for my sweet baby.Lola at the front desk is always friendly, organized, and makes check-ins and scheduling a breeze. She brings such a positive energy to the office and helps keep everything running smoothly. And shout out to Nurse Bri for her kindness support during our visit.Thrive is more than just a vet office—they’re a team that works with you, treats your pet like their own, and truly cares. Highly recommend!
July 15 · Asia BI've been going here for years but I'm done and ready to switch to a new location. They aren't a bad facility overall and I do think they mean well, but I don't think they are equipped to handle acute care or anything really complex. For annual checkups and vaccinations I've never had a problem. However with more involved care like anesthesia procedures or radiographs, this place can be a pain to deal with their scheduling and communication limits. What has really ended the relationship for me has been my experience in the past couple of months with my senior cat. She has been in pain and struggling to eat, but I feel like I have been having to prod and pry this location to actually do something to help. I never even got told what the real concern was regarding her oral pain. I finally took her elsewhere for a second opinion after three different visits here that all felt like the only thing they wanted to do was repeat blood work over and over, and was told up front my cat may have oral cancer and that we needed to act fast. The new location scheduled me for an emergency ultrasound the same day and a biopsy procedure the next day. My cat is recovering now at home, and we're awaiting those results. I feel like I may have lost valuable time waiting for these same actions to be taken at Thrive but being put off over and over again. One other thing that really amazed me was that Thrive always made me feel like my cat was a terror and difficult to work with. She is a fearful girl and doesn't like strangers it's true, but not all cats do. My new location was able to handle her gently and with more understanding and explained to me how they are certified in fearless exams and their techs are trained in handling cats without resorting to the most aggressive techniques immediately. One of them was able to hold my cat in one hand with no issues. At Thrive I was always told how my cat bit and scratched or ran away, and have received her back with a tightening leash before. I didn't even realize there was a better way for the techs to be handling her until I saw it in action. So ultimately, I wouldn't go here if your cat is not friendly to strangers or if you're seeking involved/complex care. It's been a very stressful time coming to the decision to go elsewhere, but I immediately knew it was the right thing when the level of care I was provided with elsewhere went above and beyond the standard of expectations I had come to set with Thrive.
May 03 · Lauren SmithThrive vet clinic has been wonderful for preventative care for both our dogs and also showed compassion, sensitivity and care when we needed to euthanize our older dog. It was such a hard moment and both nurse Bri and Dr. Barrett showed up in a BIG way. They gave us good counsel and time to say goodbye in a peaceful way. Never an easy decision, but they were a good team to have on-hand for our difficult moment. Thank you for all you do!
June 25 · Lauren RaberI went to Thrive to trim my cat’s nails and both Sasha and Jade were absolutely amazing. My cat was a little anxious but they were able to calm her down and took their time trimming her nails. They made sure she was okay and even checked in with me 🫶🏽
