Town & Country Veterinary Clinic Introduce
For decades, the name **Town & Country Veterinary Clinic** has been synonymous with dedicated and compassionate animal care in the Fort Dodge, Iowa area. This professional veterinary practice is a valuable community resource, uniquely positioned to serve the diverse needs of pet owners, farmers, and livestock managers throughout Webster County and beyond. As a clinic that caters to both the cherished house pet—the 'Town'—and the essential farm animals—the 'Country'—they offer a comprehensive and integrated approach to veterinary medicine that few practices in the region can match.
The team at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic is composed of experienced doctors and dedicated staff, including Dr. Jeffrey Arnold, an Iowa State University graduate with decades of experience in both small and large animal medicine, and Dr. Susan Arnold, also an ISU graduate with a special interest in small and exotic animals. This blend of expertise ensures that whether you’re bringing in a beloved dog, a barn cat, or a valued horse, your animal will receive knowledgeable, high-quality attention. Their philosophy is simple: to provide a wide variety of veterinary medical services for all animals in the region with a focus on being friendly, affordable, and experienced. Local Iowans have expressed their gratitude for this approach, with one client highly recommending the clinic, noting, "Everyone was so kind and prices were so reasonable! ... Our two dogs and cat were well taken care of and I’m so glad we found a great veterinarian in Fort Dodge!"
Beyond routine check-ups, the clinic is equipped to handle complex medical and surgical cases, utilizing modern diagnostic tools like ultrasonography and in-house laboratory evaluations for fast and accurate results. They are not merely a clinic but a full-service partner in pet wellness, extending their care to include services like pet boarding, grooming, and even compassionate end-of-life care, including euthanasia and special cremation or disposal options. Furthermore, their deep involvement in the community is highlighted by their role in animal welfare; the clinic currently serves as the designated pound for the City of Fort Dodge and Webster County, underscoring their commitment to keeping local animals safe and healthy, as demonstrated by a customer who noted, "They kept safe for me until I could get him back."
The clinic’s location is designed to be accessible, though its ‘country’ designation means a short drive from the city center. **Town & Country Veterinary Clinic** is located at **22955 Old Hwy 169, Fort Dodge, IA 50501, USA**. This rural highway setting is ideal for clients who need to bring in larger livestock or who simply prefer a more spacious, less urban environment for their pets. Accessibility is a key consideration for the facility, which offers a **wheelchair accessible parking lot** to accommodate clients with mobility needs. Given the demand for their expert services, particularly for farm calls and specialized care, **appointments are recommended** to ensure both small and large animals receive timely and comprehensive care. - Hands down the absolute best vet that I have ever been to In my Life. they do not care necessarily about the money aspect of their job. Like most vets do. They genuinely care about the animals while being. They will help you over the phone calm you down when your dog is sick and you think the worst. They have been there for me for the past six years and truly outdone themselves. I moved about an hour away and I still take my animals here. July 27 · Alyssa Slusser
