VCA Midtown Animal Hospital Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was totally impressed by the staff of VCA. I explained that my foster dog came from a very severe abuse situation and is extremely stressed by new people. They took the time to ask questions and were very gentle and supportive of him. They went above and beyond to be kind. When he refused a treat, and he loves treats, they went and got him a different treat and won him over. He was even giving the vet tech kisses, amazing. Another tech kept telling him what a good boy he was. The vet was careful to explain what was going on and then took the time to explain another side issue and recommend course of treatment. They all came down to his level on the floor. Can't tell you how impressed I was with EVERYONE from the moment I walked in, it was so positive. The guy at the front desk, again positive, helpful vibe. Let me tell you I have been doing rescue for years, I have seen a lot, it is very hard to impress me and I have never written a post like this.
April 14 · Alicia AyreAs someone who worked as a vet assistant for many years, I HIGHLY recommend this vet. Their front desk staff are incredibly professional. I cannot thank GG, Ms. Mackenzie, Vet technician Cole, and Dr. Davis enough for how they treated not only me, but also my animals. This is the only vet I will take my animals to in Atlanta. They are a bit on the expensive side (because the area it's in), but it is worth it for the quality of care my animals get. Animals aren't cheap anyways. They also have a great selection of food you can have shipped to you, which is what I do. It's super convenient and your vet is able to better track their diet that way. Their app is incredibly user friendly, too. These people take care of your animals as if they were their own. Also the Thai place next door is great :)
July 20 · Summer Jayne (thelegendofsummer)They saw my dog on an emergency basis for an injured eye. While able to diagnose but not treat the eye, they were so nice and did not charge me for the visit. They were great and referred onto a great veterinary ophthalmologist. Super appreciate them and how kind they were, never head of a veterinarian waving a visit bill before.
July 16 · PT HThe staff were all so great! I’ve been looking for a vet in the Atlanta area and when something came up with my cat I decided to take him to VCA because it was close and they could get him in quickly, and I’m so happy I did. Thank you to the VCA midtown team for making my cat and I both feel comfortable entrusting you with his care.
August 15 · Sarah BorisukDo not go to this vet. It is not worth the free visit from the Humane Society. They try to upsell you on a lot of stuff. If I had said yes to everything they tried to upsell me on, my “free wellness visit” would’ve cost me almost $400. In addition, I originally scheduled my visit and when I arrived, I had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes. I then inquired about how much longer it would be, and I was told that there was some emergencies that came in and said I can reschedule. They were apologetic and I understood, emergencies happen and are the priority. I rescheduled for a week later. After arriving, I once again had to wait for 40 minutes and the vet was still not available. I finally gave up because at this point my “free” wellness visit has taken almost 2 hours and I still haven’t seen a vet.Avoid the waste of time and the trouble and just go to your regular vet.
