★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our regular vet (VCA on River Road in Keizer--not the emergency clinic) had no openings for a euthanasia appointment for our eleven year old mini dachshund who had multiple birth defects and no sphincter reflex following a fall. I don’t understand vets that charge high prices for routine healthcare but make no provision for end of life care when you have no warning of a neurologically devastating event.Dr. J at Vetco in Keizer agreed to see us for end of life care and determined our rescue dog (who outlived his life expectancy by seven years) had no hope of recovery and talked us through her examination. No baby talk. Just straightforward and kind. We said goodbye to our friend and have moved our two other senior citizens (who are quite healthy) into the clinic in Keizer.
June 14 · Rita HandrichZoe is a very socially anxious dog and she did not need to be muzzled for her visit. They were kind and gentle with her. I appreciate everyone from the front desk to the VA and the Vet was awesome as well.We have everything we need till next time.
August 29 · Sarah MoraWe made a same day appointment for our senior Yorkie who has been having GI issues that we have been unable to resolve on our own. Dr Polk was very knowledgeable and personable. Ashley, the very tech, was also great and hilarious as she explained what Sadee was doing to avoid the blood draw despite the people being involved. They explained their thoughts on Sadee’s needs and made reasonable care recommendations within our budget. Would definitely recommend both.
August 23 · Lori HouseWe trust Vetco with my 2 fur babies. Marco is an absolute sweetheart and you can tell he really cares for your pets as they were his own. His calm demeanor helped us feel more at ease. Dr. J is amazing and very informative. She is caring and understanding. Everyone so far has been amazing at this location. From check in to check out, you can tell your babies will be in the best of hands! Thank you Vetco for caring for my fur babies as if they were your own!
June 30 · Cassandra CarrenoDo not take your pets here. Wait time was over an hour and a half just to be seen by the vet. When she did see us, she prescribed him eye drops that were too strong when I specifically told her I only needed a refill of the type I ran out of. Surprise, he’s had an allergic reaction. I’ve called multiple times to no response. Reception is also rude and entitled, they don’t care about the animals. They’re here for the money and it’s obvious. Avoid at all costs.
