Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in providing essential preventative care services for pets. While they may not offer the full spectrum of a traditional veterinary hospital, their focus allows them to provide high-quality, targeted care for common needs. Their primary services revolve around safeguarding your pet's health through preventative measures.
- Vaccinations: This is a core service, offering a range of vaccinations crucial for protecting pets against common and dangerous diseases. This includes rabies, distemper, parvovirus, kennel cough, and other essential immunizations tailored to your pet's species and lifestyle.
- Microchipping: A vital service for pet safety, microchipping provides a permanent form of identification, significantly increasing the chances of reunification if your pet ever gets lost.
- Parasite Control: Advice and possibly treatments for common internal and external parasites such as fleas, ticks, and heartworms are often part of their offerings, safeguarding your pet's comfort and health.
- Wellness Packages: While some customers have mentioned strong recommendations for packages, these often bundle essential services like vaccinations and deworming at a potentially more economical rate for comprehensive preventative care.
It is important for pet owners to understand that while Vetco excels in these preventative areas, they typically do not provide emergency services, complex surgeries, or extensive diagnostic workups that a full-service veterinary hospital would offer. Their specialization allows for focused, efficient, and often more affordable access to critical preventative health measures for your pet.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers several features that make it a notable option for pet owners in the New Jersey area seeking specific veterinary services.
- Focus on Preventative Care: The clinic's specialization in vaccinations and preventative treatments means they are well-equipped and streamlined for these essential services. This focus can often translate to efficient appointments for routine needs.
- Accessibility: As mentioned, its location on US-130 in East Windsor makes it very convenient for residents across a wide area of central New Jersey.
- Dedicated Vaccination Services: For pet owners primarily seeking vaccinations and basic preventative health measures, Vetco offers a dedicated environment without the potential wait times associated with full-service clinics handling emergencies or complex procedures.
- Friendly Staff (Based on some reviews): Some customer feedback highlights the positive interactions with the vet and assistant, describing them as "super nice." This suggests a commitment to a friendly and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
It is worth noting customer feedback regarding the check-in process and package recommendations. While some experiences highlight challenges with waiting times and sales approaches, the core service of vaccination is typically efficient once the pet is seen. Pet owners should be prepared to discuss their needs clearly and ask questions regarding any recommended packages to ensure they align with their budget and pet's requirements.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
The vet and assistant were super nice! BUT the young woman at the check in tried to guilt and shame me for not going with a package she recommended which would have translated to a $300-400 expense.I appreciate the concern for my pet, but that’s not okay as everyone has their own situation and conditions.
Feb 25, 2024 · Tal GolanDon't visit this place. I had a 12 15 appointment. I showed up on time but they had a line waiting to be checked in. I waited in line as any person would. When it was my turn to be checked in, the lady at the front told me they could not help me because I was late for my appointment even though I waited to be checked in. I never expected a business that depends on customers would do such a thing. I completely understand if you are late for your appointment the spot can only be hold for a period of time but not attending someone that was on time is mind blowing. To top it off, there was no reasoning with her.
May 05, 2024 · Domingo CruzI was quite disappointed by my Vetco experience, mainly because the physical exam is not real and the price of the vaccine was higher than expected. The vet took 2 seconds to listen to the heart of my pets and then immediately gave them the vaccine. I asked the vet to take a look at their teeth and gums but she refused, saying they are not a full-service vet. Yet, once I received the report, it was written that their mouth and teeth were examined. The report also included many other parameters that were not evaluated, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, nails, ears, and even temperature! I wonder how a vet can determine a pet's temperature without a thermometer! My second pet received the same report, with very few random changes in the numerical parameters. The exam is fake, takes only a few seconds. I now need to take my pets to the vet for their normal annual exam again. If I would have skipped Petco, I would have saved money, as the individual vaccines are cheaper at my regular vet. I paid $44 for each FVRCP shot (Feline 3 in 1), whereas I usually pay $28. The price difference is supposed to count towards the physical exam, but that was not properly done.
