★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is literally the best pet hospital I have ever been to.As a specialty vet center it is very comprehensive with all kinds of departments and specialty, and the vets are as professional and knowledgeable as you can find. One of my cats is 15 years old and was referred to here due to lymphoma and diabetes. He has received treatment for 1 year and both diseases are under control, by oncologist Dr Hutchinson and internal medicine Dr. Bissett. The price is quite reasonable and they make all the itemized charge super transparent. The vet is always trying to offer best possible solution with least cost. They even offer free email consultation during diabetes management to advise on dosage adjustments. The vets are truly cat and dog lovers that are eager to help.As a pet owner of 2 cats of 15 years old and a German shepherd of 12 years old, I felt fortunate to have such a great pet hospital for them.
August 29 · Fangkai YangI CANNOT say enough good things about this incredible veterinary hospital. They quite literally saved my dog’s life (twice!!), and did so with an unmatched level of compassion, empathy, and care. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every member of the team truly loves animals, and that's why they're in the business. They went above and beyond to keep my dog comfortable during his stay, allowing us to bring in his bed and one of my shirts so he’d have something familiar with him. They even let my boyfriend and me spend nearly two hours visiting him, something we’ll always be grateful for during such a stressful time. Not only were they thorough and professional in their care, they were communicative. I got 2 calls per day from the doctor themselves to let me know how my boy was doing, and they were always happy to answer my phone calls whenever I did call. Reception and the vets would send me pictures of my boy every day, sometimes even without me having to ask. They were also incredibly kind and mindful about the financial aspect. They were transparent and never made us feel pressured about anything, only supported. I want to say this loud and clear as somebody who has worked in vet med before: these folks don’t choose the prices. It's obvious to me that they do this work because they love animals just as much as we do, and the empathy I received when the financial burden of my bill was staring me in the face is something I will never forget because it was so genuine and deeply felt. Every time I spoke to the vet taking care of my dog, if I ever expressed concerns about finances they were happy to talk to me about possible alternatives that were cheaper without putting my dog's life at risk, but still advocated for him and his life when they felt something was necessary (which they always cleared with me first). If you're looking for a veterinary team that will treat your pet like their own and support you through every step of the process, this is the place to go. I will always trust them, and I will never forget what they did for our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for saving our Jack.
July 24 · Audrey MartinWe had brought our dog in by recommendation from our local vet. He had been hit by a vehicle and was in pain.I drove directly to this hospital from there. Without hesitation, the staff took him in from our car via gurney. My daughter who was Yoshi’s pet mom was unaware of what had happened. She had a friend visiting from out of town and were enjoying their week.I took on the care decisions for Yoshi until I knew what the prognosis was.I prayed for a miracle and asked others to pray and they did. However, this miracle was not in the plan.On Easter Sunday, I informed my daughter and we brought her to the hospital. The staff, doctors, and anyone who helped us through this were incredibly empathetic and willing to do what we wanted to any extreme. They shared facts about the current situation as Yoshi spent the night, and the future if we were to keep him living. In the end, we chose to set him free from the pain that was on the other side of heavy medication via IV.They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and waited until we signaled we were ready by using a clicker that told them to come in.The doctor was gentle, compassionate, and explained what will possibly happen as she walked us through the process.Once he was confirmed gone, she told us he has passed. It was very difficult but she made it kinder on our hearts.I appreciated the entire team for what they did. This place has the heart for people and their beloved pets.
April 21 · oncewasnowamI cannot say enough about Dr. Clark (cardiology) at VSC. I’ve had Dobermans for a long time and so I’m no stranger to cardio issues or cardiologists. And Dr. Clark is the best that I’ve worked with. When my beloved Ruger was diagnosed with DCM at 13 years old and had a-fib, I thought I had weeks left, at best. It has now been six months. Ruger still has a good quality of life and is able to enjoy playing, hiking, and even dog sports. It’s incredible. Dr. Clark used his incredible pharmaceutical and veterinary knowledge to find a fine-tuned and effective medical regimen for my old man. We are now beating the odds and I have more precious time with my best friend. I cannot thank Dr. Clark enough and the best way I can think to do so is to let others know that he’s the best. THANK YOU for ever moment.
August 30 · Gemma ZanowskiHorrible service, horrible place!!!! They seem to care about the finances over the pet. Howie, an adorable 7 year old basset hound, came in to be helped and actually saved. They had us wait hours only to send us home and say he was stable. He died hours later. They did NOTHING for that beautiful, bright, lovely dog. Not a thing!Expect the same lack of service and compassion if you take your pet here.
