This clinic operates on the principle that essential veterinary services should be accessible to everyone, and their focus on preventative medicine is a testament to this commitment. While a less-than-positive review exists regarding a specific treatment, the overall sentiment from the community often highlights the clinic's dedication to making pet care more realistic and manageable for the average family. The initial interaction with the staff, as noted by a first-time caller, often sets a positive tone. Staff members like Lindsay are praised for their kindness, patience, and willingness to provide helpful, no-pressure advice, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment even before a pet sets paw in the clinic. This personal and friendly approach is a significant part of their appeal, making a potentially stressful experience much more pleasant for both pet and owner.
The clinic's approach to pet care is not just about treating illnesses but about preventing them. They offer a Wellness Program that tailors preventative care to the specific life-stage of each pet, with recommendations for nutrition, diagnostics, and vaccinations. This forward-thinking strategy helps pet owners avoid more costly and complex health issues down the road. The clinic's transparency in discussing treatment options and costs is also a key feature. While one client felt that a more aggressive treatment plan should have been the only option presented, the clinic's practice of offering different levels of care and being upfront about the costs is valued by others. This allows pet owners to make informed decisions that align with their financial situation and comfort level, a practice that is both responsible and client-focused. The clinic's philosophy is about empowering pet owners with knowledge and choice, rather than pressuring them, fostering a trusting relationship that is crucial for long-term veterinary care.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just had my first interaction with the Well Pet Vet Clinic, calling in to inquire about their services. My experience, particularly with Lindsay, was absolutely wonderful and made a fantastic first impression.Lindsay was incredibly kind and nice from the moment she answered the phone. She was patient and understanding, and she gave me some really helpful advice, especially regarding cat carriers and where to purchase them. She also took the time to set realistic expectations about a cat's temperament during visits and clearly outlined the services they offered that I was interested in.Her helpfulness and friendly demeanor made me feel very comfortable and confident about potentially bringing my pet here. It's rare to have such a positive and informative first call. Thank you, Lindsay, for being so great! I'm looking forward to visiting the clinic based on this excellent initial experience.
April 25 · Stanley MorasI brought my cat in from an infected animal bite under her chin/neck area. within 2 days her whole neck swelled up. there were 2 options. for $1200 they could clean out infection by putting her under and 2 tests were necessary, kidney and liver tests. the other option was clean outside of wound, apply warm compress and give her antibiotics for $323.00. I chose the lesser amount thinking the vet should know how to treat wound without surgery. now a week later wound keeps opening from her scratching it. we apply compress with antibacterial remedies and it's not healing. one side is swollen from a gland I think. I had to send my roommate with cat to vet since I broke my hip. he said vet gave very little information. overall I feel this was poor quality vet care.
August 11 · Carol KuhnPLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS VETERINARIAN!!!!!! EAST HILLS IN ANTIOCH OFFERS CHEAPER SERVICE/KINDER VETS. If you are bilingual stay away but also stay away IN GENERAL!! On March 27, 2025 we took our beloved Mimo to this vet for a checkup as he seemed to be having mild respiratory issues the day prior. As soon as the vet walked into our room she ignored my mother and I and only greeted our dog. Not kindness/compassion from vet named Laurie J. Noe. This “vet” simply poked our dog (stressed him out more) and listened to his heart and then proceeded to make us pay over $600 in blood test/heart disease test. Only paid HALF of this at east hills with my previous dog to get her heart disease diagnosis and the vet was more informative regarding her diagnosis/heart murmur. This “vet” Didn’t even tell us what stage his heart murmur was in/or how severe his condition was. Only kept saying he had 6-8 months to live if put on medication. Provided very vague details. Mind you this entire time we are communicating through her VET ASSISTANT who was much more helpful than this “vet.”In total, we ended up spending almost $1000 and TWO HOURS AFTER VISITING THIS VET, our Mimo passed away in our home. He definitely had a way more severe condition than what we were told. only positive was that we were able to get reimbursed for the meds only. My mother mainly understands Spanish but I am bilingual and even then the “vet” didn’t want to directly communicate with me. Later on, I heard her speaking clearly/friendly to English speaking guests. Not sure what her issue was but she was very rude/passive/lacked compassion towards our dog and towards us.
April 19 · Julie MadrigalVery caring staff and Dr. Noe is extremely care about my pup! She is also UC Davis graduate which is the best vet school in the world (my husband is also from UC Davis, and he confirmed)I wonder why they only got 3.5 star. I would give 10 stars if I could. The price is reasonable and I would definitely recommend Well Pet Vet to my friends and fam.
October 25 · Amanda ChinitraI will never ever take my dog there again! Dr. Judge was so rude and dismissive to me! He got upset because I questioned him trying to charge me for a procedure he said my dog didn't need, and for trying to find medicine cheaper at Costco. He told me I was rude and could get out! He refused to treat my dog and just left her to suffer because of his ego! I'm going to report him to the BBB! Thank God she's not a human!
