★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I truly want to thank the amazing team at Alpine on Clayton Road in Concord, especially Dr. Virk. When my dog Luna had her accident, I was devastated. Another vet told me I either had to put her to sleep. I felt hopeless.Dr. Virk was calm, compassionate, and truly listened. From the very beginning, Luna felt safe with him and that meant everything to me. He gave me another option: amputation. He walked me through it with patience and care. If it weren’t for him, I truly believe I would have had to say goodbye to Luna. He saved her life and gave her a chance to keep living with dignity. While Luna was in their care, Dr. Virk would be there when I visited. He’d stop by, give us updates, and always made sure I felt informed and supported. That kind of personal attention is rare. The rest of the staff, Chanel, Linda, Lisa at the front desk, and so many others made me feel like family. Every time I called or walked in, I felt welcomed, cared for, and understood. The love and compassion they show toward both pets and their people is something I’ll never forget.I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Dr. Virk and the team at Alpine they truly care. They didn’t just treat Luna like another dog they treated her like my dog, and showed her the same love I would. That means the world to me.Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

February 08 · lisa lapierreDr. Virk and his team at Alpine Vet Hospital are outstanding. He’s warm, compassionate and his staff seem like they genuinely care. They’re open with pricing, treatment and go the extra mile to provide excellent pet care.I bring my two dogs there & I drive from 20+ minutes away in Martinez because I trust that I’m receiving top quality care at a reasonable price.
April 26 · Christopher ChinTook my cat here to be boarded for a couple hours and went to pick her up and her whiskers were cut on one side. I didn’t realize it when I picked her up so I called and emailed the following business day. I put a call into them and email them and have yet to get a response. They are horrible at communication. I recently had another cat there for a medical procedure and I requested to be reimbursed for a cone that didn’t fit. I was assured after a long duration of me calling and emailing I would get a reimbursement on my method of payment or a check. Yet that didn’t happen! I was only give a credit on my next visit. Which was never communicated to me. Do better! People spend a lot of money here! Look up the place before putting your pets in their care.
April 14 · Dawn NelsonOur cat was diagnosed with worms and we tried to give the medicine ourselves but she threw it up. The doctor was able to give our cat the medicine with no issues. Dr. Virk is a kind doctor who cares about his patients. We are very happy to have Alpine as our vet provider.
