WestVets Emergency Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Everyone at WestVets Emergency Vet Clinic was incredible!! I took my pup here after she was attacked by a larger dog and the staff did an incredible job of treating her quickly, keeping me informed, and helping me stay calm. The vet who ended up doing her procedure, Dr. Caramango, was fabulous. She explained everything very thoroughly and called me afterwards to walk me through everything I needed to do post-op to make sure my pup has a smooth recovery. Every tech we had was also incredible and they did a great job with everything. From when we first arrived to when I picked my dog up post procedure was maybe 5 hours max. They took everything very seriously and got her taken care of fast. I will most certainly be back to WestVets in the future if we run into any more emergencies and cannot say enough good things about our experience.
Apr 24, 2025 · maggie zentmeyerI brought my 10-month-old Cane Corso, to West Vet in what turned out to be the final moments of his life. Instead of being met with compassion and a full range of options, I was given no real chance to save him. I was offered one expensive path—no alternatives, no breakdown, no support—just a devastating decision based on money, not medicine. He didn’t get the fighting chance he deserved, and I left feeling like his life was treated as a transaction. No one should have to lose a family member without being given options, understanding, or basic empathy. If you’re looking for a place that values both pets and people, I suggest looking elsewhere.
May 23, 2025 · Kurtis GoinesI am willing to give them a 4 on the treatment of your pet; however it’s a 1 for their treatment of the customer. The cost by the time you walk out of there is ridiculous and so much of it is unnecessary. Have your wallet ready….that’s all I’m saying.I really miss my retired veterinarian. Finding a good vet is almost impossible these days.
Jun 29, 2025 · Kelly WrightI CANNOT WRITE ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE. 🩷 Dr. Miller is the absolute best. My little guy is quite sassy, and we've had to make many trips to see her. Every time she is so kind and patient with him. She reassures me and my dog that even though he is a little feisty she still loves him. We live in downtown Columbus now and happily make the drive to Westerville to continue care here. Taylor at the front is so kind and welcoming. Anytime we talk on the phone to her she answers all our questions and is happy to do it. If you are looking for an office with the sweetest hearts towards fur babies, look no further.
Feb 26, 2025 · Marikka TempleWe were in town for the holidays from out of state and our pup broke a nail in a weird way. Not only was WestVets open on Christmas Eve, but they were quick to fit our dog in for an appointment. We thought it would be a quick fix, but through a thorough and thoughtful exam, the vet realized the correction would require sedation and a bootie. They took great care of our fur baby, and even decorated his bootie for the holiday. The cherry on top: they texted us on Christmas Day to check in on him! We are so grateful to WestVets for their care!!! We'd highly recommend their services to anyone looking for emergency/urgent services for their pet.
