They aim to offer not just a transaction, but a connection to a new family member, emphasizing the care and attention given to the puppies in their charge.
---Bff Puppies is conveniently located at 1910 Wells Rd, Orange Park, FL 32073, USA. The ease of access contributes to the store's ability to serve a broad segment of the local community interested in purchasing a puppy.
---Bff Puppies primarily focuses on the sale of puppies and related services. Their offerings are geared towards facilitating the adoption of new canine family members.
- Puppy Sales: The core service is the sale of various puppy breeds and designer mixes. Their website indicates they sell breeds such as Bichapoo, Bichon, Boston Terrier, Cavapoo, Dachshund, English Bulldog, French Bulldog, Golden Retriever, La-Chon, Malshi, Maltese, Maltichon, Moyan Poodle, Papillon-Bichon, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Pom-A-Poo, Pug, Shiba Inu, Shih Tzu, Teddy Bear, Yochon, and Yorkie.
- Health Assurance and Care: According to customer reviews, the puppies are reportedly "healthy and very well taken care of by the employees." The business also states that "All our puppies are selected personally from our experienced puppy councilor to insure health, temperament and quality." They also mention that all puppies are "AKC enrolled at time of purchase."
- Informational Support: For new pet parents, Bff Puppies reportedly provides "an informational packet on the care, feeding and housebreaking of your new baby." They also "offer support and training to properly care for your new family member."
- Pricing and Financing Options: Based on customer feedback, the owner is reportedly willing to "work with you on prices." Their website also indicates that they offer "Flexible Financing Options" to assist customers with the purchase.
- Customer Support: The store aims to help customers "connect with the right special four-legged friend" and is focused on providing support to ensure the proper care of the new family member.
Bff Puppies presents several features and highlights that are designed to attract and assist local Floridians in their search for a new puppy.
- Healthy and Well-Cared-For Puppies: A significant highlight, as noted by a positive customer review, is that the "Puppies are healthy and very well taken care of by the employees." This suggests a commitment to the immediate well-being of the animals in the store's care, which is a crucial factor for prospective puppy owners.
- Owner's Willingness to Negotiate Price: One review specifically praises the owner for being "super nice and will work with you on prices," indicating a degree of flexibility and customer-centric approach when it comes to the financial aspect of purchasing a puppy. This can be a significant benefit for budget-conscious families.
- Variety of Breeds and Mixes: The store offers a diverse selection of puppies, including various purebreds and popular designer mixes. This wide array allows customers to explore different options and potentially find a puppy that aligns with their preferences for size, temperament, and appearance.
- Informational Support for New Owners: The provision of an informational packet and ongoing support and training suggests an attempt to ensure new puppy owners are well-prepared for their responsibilities, aiming for successful transitions for the puppies into their new homes.
However, it is also important to acknowledge specific concerns raised by customer feedback:
- Concerns Regarding Breed Misrepresentation: A significant negative highlight involves a customer's experience questioning the authenticity of a "Cocker Spaniel" that appeared to be a "Cockapoo." The customer expressed frustration over what they perceived as a lack of honesty regarding breed identification and a potential misrepresentation of "pure" breeds versus hybrids, especially given the pricing. This suggests a need for potential buyers to conduct their own thorough research and ask detailed questions about a puppy's lineage.
- Perceived Lack of Staff Expertise and Enthusiasm: The same customer criticized the employees' perceived lack of expertise ("They are no dog experts") and apparent disengagement ("employees give me the vibe that they hate their job. Like come on your surrounded by puppies. Absolute clown show."). This feedback points to inconsistencies in staff knowledge and customer service, which can impact a buyer's experience and trust.
- Focus on Profit over Transparency: The review suggests a perception that the store's priority might be "getting money from excessive buyers" rather than ensuring full transparency about the puppies' backgrounds, particularly regarding hybrid breeds being sold as purebreds at premium prices.

---For locals in Florida, especially those in the Orange Park and greater Jacksonville area, Bff Puppies offers a direct pathway to finding a new canine companion. The store's primary suitability lies in its dedicated focus on puppies and the convenience of being able to see and interact with various breeds and mixes in person. For families actively seeking a puppy, the reported health of the animals and the owner's stated willingness to "work with you on prices" can be attractive features, potentially making the dream of pet ownership more accessible. The availability of diverse breeds and financing options also caters to a broad range of preferences and financial situations within the local community.
However, it is critical for Floridian residents to approach Bff Puppies with a well-informed perspective. While positive experiences highlight healthy puppies and agreeable pricing, the concerns raised about potential breed misrepresentation and perceived inconsistencies in staff expertise and transparency cannot be overlooked. For locals, this means that while Bff Puppies offers a convenient selection of puppies, it is paramount to conduct independent research on breed characteristics, ask very specific questions about the lineage of any potential puppy, and consider having a veterinarian examine the puppy shortly after purchase.
Ultimately, Bff Puppies serves as a readily available option for those in the Orange Park area looking for a new puppy. Its local presence simplifies the search for a furry friend, offering a physical location to meet puppies. For local users, it represents a place where, with due diligence and clear communication, they may find the new puppy they're looking for, benefiting from the immediate availability and the stated commitment to the puppies' initial care. As with any significant pet purchase, informed decision-making and careful consideration of all available information are key to ensuring a successful and happy addition to your Florida home.

Mar 28, 2025 · Madison RiveraI was in the store not too long ago and see they have some so called Cocker Spaniels. The employees there acted like experts when I asked why do they look like poodles. My family use to always have Cocker spaniels and not once have they ever looked so fluffy like a poodle. Searching for a pup online and I see that the “pure cocker” that I saw in the store looks exactly like their cockapoo. I have no problem with dog hybrids but the store is not going to be honest with people when they are selling them at that price? Maybe they don’t even know what they are talking about. They are no dog experts. Just people trying to get money from excessive buyers. The picture shown is one of the “pure cockers” I saw next to a cockapoo they have in the same store! Also the employees give me the vibe that they hate their job. Like come on your surrounded by puppies. Absolute clown show.
Feb 28, 2025 · Bon RjGot our newest addition to the family 🥹 we love him so much!UPDATE:If I could have gotten this puppy elsewhere I most certainly would have.. The amount of issues and loopholes we ended up having to go through with our fur baby once he came home was honestly ridiculous.. the day after we got him, he was having discharge out of his nose daily, his eyes, & blood in his poop.. barely eating & barely drinking & extremely lethargic.. so we brought him back to BFF puppies to be looked at by their vet since they monitor the puppies if there are any issues with them after purchase.. after being monitored for a few hrs, My wife is told that the puppy may have kennel cough & was suggested that we take him to the forever vet’s emergency clinic. After we did so, the vet told us the puppy has an upper respiratory infection & could possibly have hook & roundworms, but further testing would have needed to be done which was going to total over an additional $1500.00 .. after we JUST spent over $2900.00 for the puppy less than a week later.. Underneath Puppy Lemon Laws in Florida , we had the right to ask for either a puppy of equal value, to return the puppy & get our money back , OR keep the puppy & have his vet bills taken care of for equal value up to the cost of him.. I spoke with Dawn Raymond personally regarding the matter & was told that she could “ as a courtesy “ possibly help out with his veterinary bills or issue us back a partial refund for him & she would be back in contact with me within 1-2 days after I sent her all the documents & proof from the Vet’s office ( Which I Did ) & STILL have not heard anything back.. it has now been 5 days, & my next step will be taking this company to civil court because what they’re doing is not right.. We love our puppy so much and have gotten so attached to him, but it isn’t fair for us to have to pay any additional vet bills for a puppy that we were promised is healthy and has absolutely no issues… this has been the WORST experience & I wish I would have read the reviews on this store before we spent this money on the puppy.. Jun 12, 2024 · Raziya ThomasMY DOG DIED!!!! ⚠️‼️If you haven’t already done so take your puppy immediately to the vet to get them tested for parvo and all other “common pet store” diseases. (They say the dogs get all their shots but they don’t. They personally know the vet that signs off the papers. So really nothing is truly legitimate.) ALSO, if you have a sick pup from here know your rights! You are entitled to a refund AND money for medical expenses by FL law. This is my story… Although hesitant to purchase from this place due to the small cages, hamster water bottles for dogs, and diarrhea smell, I had purchased the cutest boy Bernese Mountain Dog from here. Initially it looked like something was wrong with his eye and the employees told us he needed to be seen by the vet. After multiple trips to see if he was still there we kept being told he needed to be seen by the vet. At this point it was over a week this dog had not been seen by a vet. Go figure. We ended up negotiating with the owner that WE would take him to the vet for his eye if she let us purchase him. We wrote an agreement saying we knew something was wrong with his eye and signed. We took our puppy home that day and he was happy to be out of there. He seemed fine that day besides the diarrhea he kept having. (I also saw him have diarrhea at the pet store so I thought it was the cheap food they give them) We switched his food to something better and took him to the vet where they diagnosed his eye issue. The next day our puppy was getting lethargic and sleeping more than usual. He constantly kept getting up to pee. Then not even 24hrs after that we noticed he definitely was sick. I picked him up and I could feel his heart rapidly pounding through his chest. We took him to the vet emergency and he was diagnosed with PARVO the most DEADLY dog virus. First symptom is diarrhea and lethargy. GO FIGURE! Parvo is a virus that usually needs immediate medical treatment. We ended up admitting him into the emergency since his condition was so poor. Long story short our bill costed us over $10,000. We tried everything to keep him alive. He was in the vet hospital for a week with no improvements. We informed the owner of the pet store once we found out and she offered us a refund and a discount on a new puppy. Like seriously lady?! How disturbing do you have to be. We looked into the Florida law and informed her of what she WILL be paying us. Throughout this entire process I’ve met a handful of people that KNOW of this owner and what shady stuff goes down at this establishment. We ended up taking our puppy home from the hospital after a long battle where he passed away in my arms. Even after all the heartache, I’m glad our fur baby ended his life with a family ❤️ Please take my story as a warning. RIP baby Lincoln
Nov 02, 2024 · Angelisa Jimenez- MendozaINHUMANE!!! All the puppies are being doped, some of the dogs don’t have access to water, and the others have a hamster dripper!! The puppies were eating the paper in there, they’re confined to these glass cases 24/7 basically. Literally I’ve never seen puppies so sad looking. Why why why is this allowed?
