Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies Reviews
As usual, I was greeted upon entering and was offered assistance but did not need any. Staff were very friendly, jovial, and genuinely asked what type of dog I have and eagerly pointed out what items that I was purchasing had a bonus offer and overall great experience!!
Jun 10, 2025 · Paul MiehlkeI am two visits into Chuck and Don's at Pheasant Ridge in Blaine and I've left disappointed both times. I'll never make another purchase here again. On Feb 10th our family adopted a new puppy from a well known and respected animal rescue organization. That organization uses NutriSource for their food. In preparation to receiving our new pup I started to buy upwards of $1000 in necessary items, which included some food and treats from this location in Blaine. Phone algorithms realized what was happening and at one point I received an offer for $20 off a $50 purchase. I thought to myself, that would be great! I clicked on the link, I signed up, and an email was sent for the discount.I went to the store and bought a huge bag of small breed puppy food and some treats. My bill was $80.I told the check out gal about this and she said "let's look up your account". I said I hadn't ever shopped here before and the (click bait) $20 coupon (and you being the only carrier of NutriSource near me) is what brought me in, explaining I didnt have an account. She created an account for us in the system and then told me the $20 coupon wasn't there, but I could use it the next time I was in store. I told her it was here in my email. She said but it wasn't showing in my account. I was new, I'd never shopped there before, and I took her direction for it. I made my $80+ purchase and left. This past week I returned for additional treats, canned food, and some chew items. Once again I tried to use the $20. I showed her the email AGAIN and this time she told me it expired after two weeks of receiving it!! I signed up for it on the 9th and was in the store on Feb 24th.I was very frustrated with her at this point and explained what happened the first time I went in there and that she didn't give me the discount then and now isn't giving it to me again. Then old lady working there also said she wouldn't honor it.Some welcome to a new customer! I would have spent thousands at this store over the course of the next 15 years with our new pup. However, this customer service and reaction by the employees has caused me to never return. In fact, I will return all the unopened cans of food and treats and the dog food and take our business elsewhere. All over a measly $20.Our pup pampering will happen elsewhere.
Feb 28, 2025 · Alicia NorthenscoldGreat and friendly staff! They are usually well stocked and clean. They take wonderful care of the cats that are there for adoption too!
Apr 28, 2025 · Shelby E.Love the Blaine chuck and dons. Everyone is always friend and helpful. I like the frequent buyer products, as well as the quarterly rebate program. They have a great selection as well. Our dogs love the products as well
Jan 12, 2024 · Adam HecimovichThe staff are always friendly and knowledgeable but the prices are high compared to other pet stores. Being in the "Friends of Chuck" program helps a little.
