Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across Massachusetts, keeping our furry family members healthy is a top priority, but navigating the costs and logistics of routine veterinary care can sometimes be challenging. While traditional veterinary hospitals offer comprehensive services for all health needs, many families seek more streamlined and affordable options for essential preventative care like vaccinations and regular health checks. This is precisely where Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Revere steps in, offering a unique and accessible solution right within your local Petco store.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic operates on a model designed to make vital preventative services more convenient and budget-friendly for pet parents throughout Massachusetts. By focusing on vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping, they provide a valuable resource for maintaining your pet's baseline health without the full overhead of a traditional vet visit. This approach is particularly appealing to those who need to manage their pet's routine health schedule efficiently and economically. If you're a local resident in the Greater Boston area, especially near Revere, and are looking for a straightforward, cost-effective way to keep your dog or cat protected, understanding the services and benefits of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is essential.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic is conveniently located at 339 Squire Rd #108, Revere, MA 02151, USA. This address places the clinic inside a Petco store, a popular retail destination for pet supplies, food, and other necessities. Squire Road (Route 1A) is a major commercial artery in Revere, making the Petco location easily identifiable and accessible from various surrounding communities in Massachusetts, including Chelsea, Malden, Everett, and East Boston. The prominence of the road and the presence of a large retail store ensure that finding the clinic is straightforward, whether you're traveling by car or local transit where available.
One of the significant advantages of Vetco's location within Petco is the integrated convenience it offers. Pet owners can often combine their visit for vaccinations with other shopping needs, such as picking up pet food, toys, or grooming supplies, saving valuable time and streamlining their errands. Parking at Petco locations is typically ample, which is a considerable benefit in a busy area like Revere. It's important to note that Vetco Vaccination Clinics operate on specific schedules rather than being a full-time, always-open veterinary office. Therefore, checking their clinic hours and dates in advance is highly recommended to ensure a smooth visit for Massachusetts residents.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic focuses on providing essential preventative care services for dogs and cats. Their streamlined service model aims for efficiency, making it easier for pets to receive necessary treatments.
- Vaccinations: This is the core service offered by Vetco. They provide a comprehensive range of vaccines for both canine and feline companions, including:
- For Dogs: Rabies, Distemper & Parvo (DA2PP), Leptospirosis, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Canine Influenza, and Lyme vaccines. Both 1-year and 3-year Rabies options are often available, depending on your pet's history and local regulations.
- For Cats: Rabies (PureVax options often available), Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia (FVRCP or 3-in-1), and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) vaccines.
- Heartworm Testing and Prevention: Offering essential blood tests to detect the presence of heartworm disease and providing preventative medications to protect against this serious, mosquito-borne condition.
- Flea and Tick Prevention: Providing access to various prescription-strength oral or topical medications to protect pets from fleas and ticks, helping to prevent infestations and associated diseases.
- Deworming: Administering treatments for common intestinal parasites such as roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.
- Microchipping: A vital service for pet identification. Microchips offer a permanent form of ID that greatly increases the chances of a lost pet being reunited with their family.
- Fecal Testing: Offering tests to check for intestinal parasites, which are important for both pet health and public health.
- Basic Health Check: A brief wellness check performed by a state-licensed veterinarian or vet tech to ensure the pet is healthy enough to receive vaccinations and other treatments. This is not a full diagnostic exam but provides a quick assessment.
It is important for pet owners to understand that Vetco Vaccination Clinics are designed for preventative care and are not equipped to handle emergencies, diagnose illnesses, perform surgeries, or treat existing conditions. For such needs, a full-service veterinary hospital remains the appropriate choice.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
VETCO apparently is run by complete incompetent morons. How many times do we have to schedule an appointment and we arrive and "oh sorry nobody is here today" or "oh they already left much earlier". Great quality workers here.
Aug 18, 2024 · Alex TI took my two cats for their vaccinations and was surprised at the great service I got. The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The vet and vet tech were also good. The vet gave a quick exam and the tech gave my cats their vaccinations. They were both knowledgeable and efficient in their job. I was only there for 1/2 hour. great prices also
Oct 19, 2023 · Roseanne AvakianI visited the PetSmart location in Revere, and I have to say, my experience left much to be desired. The odor in the store was quite unpleasant, and the overall organization was seriously lacking. It was a struggle to navigate with a cart due to the congestion caused by numerous merchants crowding the pathways. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disengaged and not very helpful. I was hoping for a better shopping experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling quite frustrated and disappointed.
Aug 10, 2023 · Grace M.Very well-organized website and on-site. They are gentle and caring. Give you details of the exam.
Aug 06, 2024 · Gentian BallaExtremely disappointed with their service. Jasmine on the front desk is rude and I wouldn’t recommend a first time dog owner to talk to jasmine as she wouldn’t entertain any questions. They tricked me buying a rabies shot for my dog even though my dog is fully vaccinated for rabies which is good for 3 years. Another incident that happened is that when I booked an appointment they told me I have a free first physical exam but when I walked in, they did charge me for the physical exam and said that they can’t validate that promo anymore.
