Petco Reviews
The guy who helped me yesterday with glasses around 6:30pm was very helpful and knowledgeable. I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but thank you for taking the time to go over the different fresh water outdoor pond options! Store was also very clean and organized. New favorite location.
Mar 26, 2025 · Samantha AnnThis review is exclusively regarding the location in Chapel Hill. I know evenings are busy, but sometimes circumstances make it so that curbside pickup is the only reasonable option. I don't expect to wait for over fifteen minutes, and then call and get no answer. When I went inside, the associate that helped me didn't apologize at all for the wait. I know sometimes waiting can't be helped. But I do expect for the store associate to at least act like they care. I'll be going to my usual Petco on Renaissance parkway from now on. At least they know how to treat customers with kindness and decency.
Mar 25, 2025 · Charlotte TelegenI guess you can’t count on standard store hours?!?? Placed an online order earlier today and when I stopped by at 7:15 PM to pick it up, I found this on the door…🤷🏻♂️ not very helpful to know that they closed early only once you get there. No reason given for the early closure and all the other businesses around it were open
Jan 16, 2025 · JamesDecent for a chain store, but the employees are not experts in the field. Most are unable to answer mildly specific questions about pets and pet care. Great if you know exactly the product that you're looking for, not so great if you need any kind of advice.
Feb 20, 2025 · Mark S.I had a morning appointment at 8:15 for my dog. The sign outside said it opened at 8:00 today but the door wasn’t opening so I came back at 8:12 to be let in by the groomer. She said it would take an hour to an hour and a half. I thought that was odd considering that I’ve used this same service at multiple other Petco’s and it’s only ever been about 45 minutes. There were also no other dogs that I could see in the kenneled area. At the 2 hour mark I called the grooming department with no answer, so I walked in to see her talking on her cellphone in the grooming area with no dogs being cared for. I could only hear one dog barking in the kennels, and it sounded like mine. I asked if my pet was done and she said in 10-15 minutes because he still needed his nails trimmed and to be brushed. So 2 hours and 15 minutes for something I’m typically used to being 45 minutes and the clear appearance that it’s not busy. Then when she brings my dog out I see red marks on his head. My first thought was that his head was clipped with clippers and he bled. But I thought it could’ve been self inflicted in the kennel too, but nothing like that has ever happened before and I’ve had my dog for 4 years. The groomer agreed that it was probably self inflicted in the kennel. So I walked out and went home and when I got home saw his leg bleeding. Again, looked like it had been clipped. Now outraged, I called corporate to file a complaint and they told me to call the store manager. How in the world can I not file a complaint but instead have to speak to a manager. I don’t think I’ll be continuing pet grooming services with Petco.
