I brought my dog in because he has an obvious minor infection on his paw. All I wanted was antibiotics and to be on my way. The "nurse" comes in first and said she would clean my dogs ears. She takes a white pad and vigorously moves her finger around inside his ear. I was shocked by this because I clean his ears all the time and never did it so carelessly. He had been crying ever since, anytime I pet him and touch either of his ears. Also take into consideration my dog does NOT whine for anything he was limping from the infection and never whined once.Secondly, the doctor comes in. Does not ask me a single question about my dog or what may have caused this. Goes up touches my dogs paw and goes we may need to ampuate his paw. Mind you this dog is 10 years old with a 10 year life expectancy. And he has had infections before in his life and this was no worse than them. I said let's just do antibiotics and he said ya well start with that but if it doesn't get better well see what we can do. He says he wants to give him a cortisone shot and a shot of antibiotics that was an all in one shot. I've never heard of this or done it this way so I was hesitant. I asked him how much the shot was. He leaves and comes back and tells me the total cost for visit, shot, and take home medicine combined. I say "I asked you how much the shot was so I could decide if I wanted it and you tell me the price of the whole visit how does that make sense. His reply verbatum was, "why are you busting my chops man!". So I deny the shot and just take the oral antibiotics home with me and my dog is fine in a few days, no more infection. But its been a week and he STILL cries when I touch his ears. He has never acted like this before.Long story short,You are doing your pet a huge disservice by taking them to this office.

Misdiagnosed kitten after not really listening and looking at previous treatment records. Asked to do more testing that ended up being needed. Confusion about which diseases overlap for dog and cat. Very nice staff and nice vet but a little bit creepy and not as knowledgeable/able to admit when wrong. Asked for a credit toward routine service to rectify the situation and got more of the same, with increased patronizing tone to me as woman.

I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Chichi (18 yr old, Shih tzu) the care and compassion provided by Dr. Corona and his awesome staff for years and during her final days were nothing short of extraordinary. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Corona for guiding me for years to make sure my baby was well and healthy. Thank you for helping me give her a long and healthy life.My dog became seriously ill in January 2025 and it quickly became clear that we were nearing the end of her journey. Dr Bob has been absolutely amazing. My 12 week puppy was suffering from pneumonia and he went above and beyond to help us. He gave me his cell phone number in case of an emergency that occurs after hours not to mention he checked in on weekends to see how my puppy was doing. The staff is equally as amazing. I hope this man never retires, they just don’t make vets like him anymore!
