Animal Cancer Care and Research Center Reviews
They are amazing and have been so helpful in customizing cancer treatments for my Jake and his MAST cell tumor. Everyone is so friendly and caring towards all the animals they care for. My Jake finished his week of radiation treatments in this photo. He is 5 months post radiation now and no signs of recurrence via ultrasound.
Dec 16, 2024 · K SheltonWe cannot say enough good things about the care given to our Wilson. His doctor, her assistant, the other doctors and all of the techs and staff-- the best! Thank you to them all!
Oct 09, 2022 · Patricia HawkinsThe Center was wonderful when they first treated my Labrador for a melanoma a gave him a series of chemotherapy treatments six months apart. They said he was in remission and scheduled a follow up.Though the follow up took quite a lot of time, they were iffy about the appearance of some internal lymphomas. They recommended a follow up ultrasound later in the fall. However, when I called back, they said they could not see him until later in NovemberI had to find a REAL Emergency Clinic.Southern Hills. I can't say enough good about Southern Hills Emergency Animal Hospital . They fit us in immediately and were able to perform the needed ultrasound, and blood work and were very sympathetic and attentive.Long and short of it, if you have a pet in need of emergency care do not bother with either the Virginia Tech Cancer Center or the Virginia Tech Animal clinic. While they were once very good, they are both totally uninterested.
Oct 29, 2024 · David and Laura BerryThe best there is. Dr Tuohy worked so hard to get our St. Bernard into the clinical trial just days after his diagnosis. My wife and I are still grateful for the experience of driving to Virginia for our dog with Osteosarcoma. Our boy has outlived the expectations so far, and moreover, has had an incredible quality of life.
Jan 13, 2023 · G DDoctors are always available to either take your calls or call you back. They spend time with the patients' owners to answer any questions. The quality of the pet's life is most important to them when they recommend surgery, treatments, and medications. The entire staff is excellent!
